Proverbs 21

ECB(i) 1 The heart of the sovereign is in the hand of Yah Veh; as the rivulets of water he spreads it wherever he desires. 2 Every way of a man is straight in his own eyes; and Yah Veh gauges the heart. 3 To work justice and judgment is chosen of Yah Veh, rather than sacrifice. 4 A high look and a broad heart and the plowing of the wicked, is sin. 5 The fabrications of the decisive are only to advantage; and of all the hasty only to want. 6 The deeds of treasures by a false tongue is a vanity dispersed by them who seek death. 7 The devastation of the wicked cuts them; because they refuse to work judgment. 8 Perverse is the way of a man of guilt; and the deed of the pure is straight. 9 Better, to settle in a corner of the roof, than with a contentious woman in a community house. 10 The soul of the wicked desires evil; his friend grants no charism in his eyes. 11 When the scorner is penalized, the gullible enwisen; and when the wise comprehend, he takes knowledge. 12 The Just One comprehends the house of the wicked; perverting the wicked for their evil. 13 Whoever shuts his ears at the cry of the poor, calls, but is not answered. 14 A covert gift tames wrath; and a bribe in the bosom, strong fury. 15 For the just to work judgment is cheerfulness; and ruin to the workers of mischief. 16 The human who strays from the way of comprehension rests in the congregation of ghosts. 17 Whoever loves cheerfulness is a man of lack; whoever loves wine and ointment enriches not. 18 The wicked are a koper/an atonement for the just; and they who deal covertly for the straight. 19 Better, to settle in the land of the wilderness, than with a woman of contentions and vexations. 20 A treasure to be desired, and ointment is in the habitation of rest of the wise; and a foolish human swallows it. 21 He who pursues justness and mercy finds life, justness and honor. 22 The wise ascend the city of the mighty and topple the strength of the confidence. 23 Whoever guards his mouth and his tongue guards his soul from tribulations. 24 Proud, arrogant: scorner is his name, who works the fury of arrogance. 25 The desire of the sloth deathifies him; for his hands refuse to work. 26 In desiring, he desires all the day long; and the just gives and spares not. 27 The sacrifice of the wicked is abhorrence; how much more, when he brings it with intrigue? 28 A witness of lies destructs; and the man who hears, words in perpetuity. 29 A wicked man strengthens his face; and the straight establishes his way. 30 There is neither wisdom nor discernment nor counsel against Yah Veh. 31 The horse is prepared against the day of war; and salvation is of Yah Veh.
