By David. Blessed - Yah Veh my rock who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to war:
my mercy and my stronghold; my secure loft, who slips me away; my buckler, in whom I seek refuge; who subdues my people under me.
O Yah Veh, what is humanity, that you know him? - the son of man, that you fabricate him?
Humanity is likened to vanity; his days are as a passing shadow.
Spread your heavens, O Yah Veh, and descend; touch the mountains, and they smoke;
lightning the lightning and scatter them; send your arrows and agitate them;
send your hand from the heights; tear me loose and rescue me from great waters - from the hand of strange sons
whose mouth words vanity whose right is a right of falsehood.
O Elohim, I sing you a new song; on a bagpipe and a decachord, I psalm to you
- who gives salvation to sovereigns; who release David his servant from the evil sword.
Tear me loose and rescue me from the hand of strange sons - whose mouth words vanity whose right is a right of falsehood.
Because our sons as plants become grown in their youth; and our daughters as prominent corner pillars carved in the pattern of a manse;
our granaries fill up - producing species by species; our flocks bring forth a thousandfold and abound by the myriads in our outways;
our chiliarchs bear - neither breaching nor going out; nor cry out in our broadways.
Blithe - that people, who is thus; yes, blithe - that people, whose Elohim is Yah Veh.
