Psalms 5

ECB(i) 1 To His Eminence; On Flute; A Psalm by David. Hear my sayings, O Yah Veh; discern my meditation: 2 hearken to the voice of my cry, my Sovereign and my Elohim; for I pray to you. 3 Hear my voice in the morning, O Yah Veh; in the morning I arrange to you and watch. 4 For you are an El who neither delights in wickedness; nor sojourns with evil. 5 They who halal settle not at your eyes; you hate all who work mischief: 6 you destroy them who word lies; Yah Veh abhors the man of bloods and deceit. 7 And as for me, I come into your house in the abundance of your mercy; and in your awe I prostrate toward your holy manse. 8 O Yah Veh, Lead me in your justness because of my opponents; straighten your way at my face: 9 for naught is established in their mouth; their inwards are calamities; their throat is an open tomb; they smooth over with their tongue. 10 They guilt, O Elohim; fell them by their own counsels: in the abundance of their rebellions drive them away: for they rebel against you. 11 And all who seek refuge in you cheer; they eternally shout because you cover them over; may they who love your name jump for joy in you: 12 for you bless the just, O Yah Veh; with pleasure you surround him as a shield.
