To His Eminence; Al Tashcheth/Ruin Not: A Poem by David; when Shaul sends and they guard the house to deathify him. Rescue me from my enemies, O my Elohim; loft me from them who rise:
rescue me from the doers of mischief and save me from men of blood.
For, behold, they lurk for my soul; the strong dodge against me: neither for my rebellion, nor for my sin, O Yah Veh.
Without perversity they run and prepare themselves; they waken to meet me and see.
And You, O Yah Veh Elohim Sabaoth, Elohim of Yisra El, Waken to visit all the goyim; grant not charism to any who deal covertly. Selah.
They return at evening; they roar as a dog and go all around the city:
behold, they gush with their mouth; swords are in their lips: Who hears?
And you, O Yah Veh, laugh at them; you deride all the goyim.
O my Strength, I regard you; for Elohim is my secure loft.
The Elohim of my mercy anticipates me; Elohim shows my opponents.
Slaughter them not, lest my people forget; stagger them by your valour: and topple them, O Adonay our buckler.
The sin of their mouth is the words of their lips - captured in their own pomp; and for oathing and deception which they scribe.
Finish them off in fury, finish them off, that they are not; and so they know that Elohim reigns in Yaaqov to the finality of the earth. Selah.
And at evening they return; they roar like a dog and go all around the city:
they wander to eat and murmer if they are not satisfied.
And I - I sing of your power; yes, I shout of your mercy in the morning: for being my secure loft and retreat in the day of my tribulation.
To you, O my strength, I sing; for Elohim is my secure loft - Elohim of my mercy.
