Psalms 59

ECB(i) 1 To His Eminence; Al Tashcheth/Ruin Not: A Poem by David; when Shaul sends and they guard the house to deathify him. Rescue me from my enemies, O my Elohim; loft me from them who rise: 2 rescue me from the doers of mischief and save me from men of blood. 3 For, behold, they lurk for my soul; the strong dodge against me: neither for my rebellion, nor for my sin, O Yah Veh. 4 Without perversity they run and prepare themselves; they waken to meet me and see. 5 And You, O Yah Veh Elohim Sabaoth, Elohim of Yisra El, Waken to visit all the goyim; grant not charism to any who deal covertly. Selah. 6 They return at evening; they roar as a dog and go all around the city: 7 behold, they gush with their mouth; swords are in their lips: Who hears? 8 And you, O Yah Veh, laugh at them; you deride all the goyim. 9 O my Strength, I regard you; for Elohim is my secure loft. 10 The Elohim of my mercy anticipates me; Elohim shows my opponents. 11 Slaughter them not, lest my people forget; stagger them by your valour: and topple them, O Adonay our buckler. 12 The sin of their mouth is the words of their lips - captured in their own pomp; and for oathing and deception which they scribe. 13 Finish them off in fury, finish them off, that they are not; and so they know that Elohim reigns in Yaaqov to the finality of the earth. Selah. 14 And at evening they return; they roar like a dog and go all around the city: 15 they wander to eat and murmer if they are not satisfied. 16 And I - I sing of your power; yes, I shout of your mercy in the morning: for being my secure loft and retreat in the day of my tribulation. 17 To you, O my strength, I sing; for Elohim is my secure loft - Elohim of my mercy.
