You return man to crush; and say, Return, you sons of humanity.
For a thousand years in your eyes are as yesterday when it is past - a watch in the night.
Floodborne, as asleep; in the morning, as grass that changes.
In the morning, flourishes and changes; in the evening, cut and withered:
for we are finished off by your wrath and terrified by your fury.
You set our perversities in front of you, our concealments in the light of your face.
For all our days turn face in your fury; we finish off our years as a meditation:
the days of our years, seventy years; and if by might, eighty years; yet their pride is toil and mischief - quickly passed over and we fly away.
