And they murmured against her. ⁶ And Jesus said, Let her alone; why do you give her trouble? she hath wrought a beautiful work in me. ⁷ For you have the poor always with you, and when you wish, you are able to do them good: but you have not me always. ⁸ She did what she could: she came aforehand to anoint my body for the burial.
