Sin shalbe in greate heuynesse, Alexandria shalbe roted out, and Noph shall haue daylye sorow. ¹⁷ The best men of Helyopolys and Bubasto shalbe slayne with the swearde, and caryed awaye captyue. ¹⁸ At Caphnis the daye shalbe darcke, when I breake there the scepter of the lande of Egypt, & when the pompe of her power shall haue an ende, A cloud shall couer her, and her daughters shalbe led awaye into captiuite. ¹⁹ Thus will I punysh Egypt, that they maye knowe how that I am the Lorde.
