Daniel 5:23-30 ועל against מרא the Lord שׁמיא of heaven; התרוממת But hast lifted up thyself ולמאניא the vessels די of ביתה his house היתיו and they have brought קדמיך before ואנתה thee, and thou, ורברבניך and thy lords, שׁגלתך thy wives, ולחנתך and thy concubines, חמרא wine שׁתין have drunk בהון ולאלהי the gods כספא of silver, ודהבא and gold, נחשׁא of brass, פרזלא iron, אעא wood, ואבנא and stone, די which לא not, חזין see ולא nor שׁמעין hear, ולא nor ידעין know: שׁבחת in them; and thou hast praised ולאלהא and the God די in whose נשׁמתך thy breath בידה hand וכל and whose all ארחתך thy ways, לה לא hast thou not הדרת׃ glorified:

25 H1836 ודנה And this H3792 כתבא the writing H1768 די that H7560 רשׁים was written, H4484 מנא MENE, H4484 מנא MENE, H8625 תקל TEKEL, H6537 ופרסין׃ UPHARSIN.

26 H1836 דנה This H6591 פשׁר the interpretation H4406 מלתא of the thing: H4484 מנא MENE; H4483 מנה hath numbered H426 אלהא God H4437 מלכותך thy kingdom, H8000 והשׁלמה׃ and finished

27 H8625 תקל TEKEL; H8625 תקילתה Thou art weighed H3977 במאזניא in the balances, H7912 והשׁתכחת and art found H2627 חסיר׃ wanting.

28 H6537 פרס PERES; H6537 פריסת is divided, H4437 מלכותך Thy kingdom H3052 ויהיבת and given H4076 למדי to the Medes H6540 ופרס׃ and Persians.

29 H116 באדין Then H560 אמר commanded H1113 בלשׁאצר Belshazzar, H3848 והלבישׁו and they clothed H1841 לדניאל Daniel H711 ארגונא with scarlet, H2002 והמונכא and a chain H1768 די of H1722 דהבא gold H5922 על about H6676 צוארה his neck, H3745 והכרזו and made a proclamation H5922 עלוהי concerning H1768 די him, that H1934 להוא he should be H7990 שׁליט ruler H8531 תלתא the third H4437 במלכותא׃ in the kingdom.
