Deuteronomy 8:3 ויענך And he humbled וירעבך thee, and suffered thee to hunger, ויאכלך and fed את המן manna, אשׁר which לא not, ידעת thou knewest ולא neither ידעון know; אבתיך did thy fathers למען that הודיעך he might make thee know כי that לא doth not על by הלחם bread לבדו only, יחיה live האדם man כי but על by כל every מוצא that proceedeth out פי of the mouth יהוה of the LORD יחיה live. האדם׃ doth man
