2 H7971 השׁלח That sendeth H3220 בים by the sea, H6735 צירים ambassadors H3627 ובכלי even in vessels H1573 גמא of bulrushes H5921 על upon H6440 פני upon H4325 מים the waters, H1980 לכו Go, H4397 מלאכים messengers, H7031 קלים ye swift H413 אל to H1471 גוי a nation H4900 ממשׁך scattered H4178 ומורט and peeled, H413 אל to H5971 עם a people H3372 נורא terrible H4480 מן from H1931 הוא their beginning H1973 והלאה hitherto; H1471 גוי a nation H6978 קו קו H4001 ומבוסה and trodden down, H834 אשׁר whose H958 בזאו have spoiled! H5104 נהרים the rivers H776 ארצו׃ land

3 H3605 כל All H3427 ישׁבי ye inhabitants H8398 תבל of the world, H7931 ושׁכני and dwellers H776 ארץ on the earth, H5375 כנשׂא ye, when he lifteth up H5251 נס an ensign H2022 הרים on the mountains; H7200 תראו see H8628 וכתקע and when he bloweth H7782 שׁופר a trumpet, H8085 תשׁמעו׃ hear

4 H3588 כי For H3541 כה so H559 אמר said H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אלי unto H8252 אשׁקוטה me, I will take my rest, H5027 ואביטה and I will consider H4349 במכוני in my dwelling place H2527 כחם heat H6703 צח like a clear H5921 עלי upon H219 אור H5645 כעב like a cloud H2919 טל of dew H2527 בחם in the heat H7105 קציר׃ of harvest.

5 H3588 כי For H6440 לפני before H7105 קציר the harvest, H8552 כתם is perfect, H6525 פרח when the bud H1155 ובסר and the sour grape H1580 גמל ripening H1961 יהיה is H5328 נצה in the flower, H3772 וכרת he shall both cut off H2150 הזלזלים the sprigs H4211 במזמרות with pruning hooks, H853 ואת H5189 הנטישׁות the branches. 6 H5800 יעזבו They shall be left H3162 יחדו together H5861 לעיט unto the fowls H2022 הרים of the mountains, H929 ולבהמת and to the beasts H776 הארץ of the earth: H6972 וקץ shall summer H5921 עליו upon H5861 העיט and the fowls H3605 וכל them, and all H929 בהמת the beasts H776 הארץ of the earth H5921 עליו upon H2778 תחרף׃ shall winter

1 H4853 משׂא The burden H4714 מצרים of Egypt. H2009 הנה Behold, H3068 יהוה the LORD H7392 רכב rideth H5921 על upon H5645 עב cloud, H7031 קל a swift H935 ובא and shall come H4714 מצרים into Egypt: H5128 ונעו shall be moved H457 אלילי and the idols H4714 מצרים of Egypt H6440 מפניו at his presence, H3824 ולבב and the heart H4714 מצרים of Egypt H4549 ימס shall melt H7130 בקרבו׃ in the midst

2 H5526 וסכסכתי And I will set H4714 מצרים the Egyptians H4714 במצרים against the Egyptians: H3898 ונלחמו and they shall fight H376 אישׁ every one H251 באחיו against his brother, H376 ואישׁ and every one H7453 ברעהו against his neighbor; H5892 עיר city H5892 בעיר against city, H4467 ממלכה kingdom H4467 בממלכה׃ against kingdom.

3 H1238 ונבקה shall fail H7307 רוח And the spirit H4714 מצרים of Egypt H7130 בקרבו in the midst H6098 ועצתו the counsel H1104 אבלע thereof; and I will destroy H1875 ודרשׁו thereof: and they shall seek H413 אל to H457 האלילים the idols, H413 ואל and to H328 האטים the charmers, H413 ואל and to H178 האבות them that have familiar spirits, H413 ואל and to H3049 הידענים׃ the wizards.

4 H5534 וסכרתי will I give over H853 את H4714 מצרים And the Egyptians H3027 ביד into the hand H113 אדנים lord; H7186 קשׁה of a cruel H4428 ומלך king H5794 עז and a fierce H4910 ימשׁל shall rule H5002 בם נאם over them, saith H113 האדון the Lord, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות׃ of hosts.

5 H3001 ונשׁתו and dried up. H4325 מים And the waters H3220 מהים from the sea, H5104 ונהר and the river H2717 יחרב shall be wasted H5405 ויבשׁ׃ shall fail

6 H2186 והאזניחו H5104 נהרות H1809 דללו shall be emptied H2717 וחרבו and dried up: H2975 יארי the brooks H4693 מצור H7070 קנה the reeds H5488 וסוף and flags H7060 קמלו׃ shall wither.

7 H6169 ערות The paper reeds H5921 על by H2975 יאור the brooks, H5921 על by H6310 פי the mouth H2975 יאור of the brooks, H3605 וכל and every thing H4218 מזרע sown H2975 יאור by the brooks, H3001 ייבשׁ shall wither, H5086 נדף be driven away, H369 ואיננו׃ and be no

9 H954 ובשׁו shall be confounded. H5647 עבדי Moreover they that work H6593 פשׁתים flax, H8305 שׂריקות in fine H707 וארגים and they that weave H2355 חורי׃ networks,

10 H1961 והיו And they shall be H8356 שׁתתיה in the purposes H1792 מדכאים broken H3605 כל thereof, all H6213 עשׂי that make H7938 שׂכר sluices H99 אגמי H5315 נפשׁ׃ for fish.

11 H389 אך Surely H196 אולים H8269 שׂרי the princes H6814 צען of Zoan H2450 חכמי of the wise H6098 יעצי the counsel H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H6098 עצה H1197 נבערה is become brutish: H349 איך how H559 תאמרו say H413 אל ye unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh, H1121 בן the son H2450 חכמים of the wise, H589 אני I H1121 בן the son H4428 מלכי kings? 12 H335 אים Where H645 אפוא they? where H2450 חכמיך thy wise H5046 ויגידו and let them tell H4994 נא thee now, H3045 לך וידעו and let them know H4100 מה what H3289 יעץ hath purposed H3069 יהוה H6635 צבאות of hosts H5921 על upon H4714 מצרים׃ Egypt.

13 H2973 נואלו are become fools, H8269 שׂרי The princes H6814 צען of Zoan H5377 נשׁאו are deceived; H8269 שׂרי the princes H5297 נף of Noph H8582 התעו they have also seduced H853 את H4714 מצרים Egypt, H6438 פנת the stay H7626 שׁבטיה׃ of the tribes

14 H3068 יהוה The LORD H4537 מסך hath mingled H7130 בקרבה in the midst H7307 רוח spirit H5773 עועים a perverse H8582 והתעו to err H853 את H4714 מצרים thereof: and they have caused Egypt H3605 בכל in every H4639 מעשׂהו work H8582 כהתעות staggereth H7910 שׁכור thereof, as a drunken H6892 בקיאו׃ in his vomit.

15 H3808 ולא Neither H1961 יהיה shall there be H4714 למצרים for Egypt, H4639 מעשׂה work H834 אשׁר which H6213 יעשׂה may do. H7218 ראשׁ the head H2180 וזנב or tail, H3712 כפה branch H100 ואגמון׃ or rush,

16 H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא In that H1961 יהיה be H4714 מצרים shall Egypt H802 כנשׁים like unto women: H2729 וחרד and it shall be afraid H6342 ופחד and fear H6440 מפני because H8573 תנופת of the shaking H3027 יד of the hand H3068 יהוה of the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H834 אשׁר which H1931 הוא he H5130 מניף shaketh H5921 עליו׃ over

17 H1961 והיתה shall be H127 אדמת And the land H3063 יהודה of Judah H4714 למצרים unto Egypt, H2283 לחגא a terror H3605 כל every one H834 אשׁר that H2142 יזכיר maketh mention H853 אתה H413 אליו in H6342 יפחד thereof shall be afraid H6440 מפני himself, because H6098 עצת of the counsel H3068 יהוה of the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H834 אשׁר which H1931 הוא he H3289 יועץ hath determined H5921 עליו׃ against
