Jeremiah 9:17-21 כה Thus אמר saith יהוה the LORD צבאות of hosts, התבוננו Consider וקראו ye, and call למקוננות for the mourning women, ותבואינה that they may come; ואל for החכמות cunning שׁלחו and send ותבואנה׃ that they may come:

17 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H995 התבוננו Consider H7121 וקראו ye, and call H6969 למקוננות for the mourning women, H935 ותבואינה that they may come; H413 ואל for H2450 החכמות cunning H7971 שׁלחו and send H935 ותבואנה׃ that they may come:

18 H4116 ותמהרנה And let them make haste, H5375 ותשׂנה and take up H5921 עלינו for H5092 נהי a wailing H3381 ותרדנה may run down H5869 עינינו us, that our eyes H1832 דמעה with tears, H6079 ועפעפינו and our eyelids H5140 יזלו gush out H4325 מים׃ with waters.

19 H3588 כי For H6963 קול a voice H5092 נהי of wailing H8085 נשׁמע is heard H6726 מציון H349 איך How H7703 שׁדדנו are we spoiled! H954 בשׁנו confounded, H3966 מאד we are greatly H3588 כי because H5800 עזבנו we have forsaken H776 ארץ the land, H3588 כי because H7993 השׁליכו have cast out. H4908 משׁכנותינו׃ our dwellings

20 H3588 כי Yet H8085 שׁמענה hear H802 נשׁים O ye women, H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3947 ותקח receive H241 אזנכם and let your ear H1697 דבר the word H6310 פיו of his mouth, H3925 ולמדנה and teach H1323 בנותיכם your daughters H5092 נהי wailing, H802 ואשׁה and every one H7468 רעותה her neighbor H7015 קינה׃ lamentation.

21 H3588 כי For H5927 עלה is come up H4194 מות death H2474 בחלונינו into our windows, H935 בא is entered H759 בארמנותינו into our palaces, H3772 להכרית to cut off H5768 עולל the children H2351 מחוץ from without, H970 בחורים the young men H7339 מרחבות׃ from the streets.
