Nehemiah 9:29 ותעד And testifiedst בהם להשׁיבם against them, that thou mightest bring them again אל unto תורתך thy law: והמה yet they הזידו dealt proudly, ולא not שׁמעו and hearkened למצותיך unto thy commandments, ובמשׁפטיך against thy judgments, חטאו but sinned בם אשׁר (which יעשׂה do, אדם if a man וחיה he shall live בהם ויתנו כתף the shoulder, סוררת וערפם their neck, הקשׁו and hardened ולא and would not שׁמעו׃ hear.
