Deuteronomy 17:8-12 If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment , between blood and blood , between plea and plea , and between stroke and stroke , being matters of controversy within thy gates : then shalt thou arise , and get thee up into the place which the LORD thy God shall choose ;

10 H6213 And thou shalt do [H8804] H6310 according to the sentence H1697 H4725 , which they of that place H3068 which the LORD H977 shall choose [H8799] H5046 shall shew [H8686] H8104 thee; and thou shalt observe [H8804] H6213 to do [H8800] H3384 according to all that they inform [H8686] thee:

11 H6310 According to the sentence H8451 of the law H3384 which they shall teach [H8686] H4941 thee, and according to the judgment H559 which they shall tell [H8799] H6213 thee, thou shalt do [H8799] H5493 : thou shalt not decline [H8799] H1697 from the sentence H5046 which they shall shew [H8686] H3225 thee, to the right hand H8040 , nor to the left.

12 H376 And the man H6213 that will do [H8799] H2087 presumptuously H8085 , and will not hearken [H8800] H3548 unto the priest H5975 that standeth [H8802] H8334 to minister [H8763] H3068 there before the LORD H430 thy God H8199 , or unto the judge [H8802] H376 , even that man H4191 shall die [H8804] H1197 : and thou shalt put away [H8765] H7451 the evil H3478 from Israel.

ERV⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁸ If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within thy gates: then shalt thou arise, and get thee up unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose; ⁹ and thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days: and thou shalt inquire; and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment: ¹⁰ and thou shalt do according to the tenor of the sentence, which they shall shew thee from that place which the LORD shall choose; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they shall teach thee: ¹¹ according to the tenor of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not turn aside from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left. ¹² And the man that doeth presumptuously, in not hearkening unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
