Leviticus 3:1-17 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering , if he offer it of the herd ; whether it be a male or female , he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.

1 H7133 And if his oblation H2077 be a sacrifice H8002 of peace offering H7126 , if he offer [H8688] H1241 it of the herd H2145 ; whether it be a male H5347 or female H7126 , he shall offer [H8686] H8549 it without blemish H6440 before H3068 the LORD.

2 H5564 And he shall lay [H8804] H3027 his hand H7218 upon the head H7133 of his offering H7819 , and kill [H8804] H6607 it at the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation H175 : and Aaron's H1121 sons H3548 the priests H2236 shall sprinkle [H8804] H1818 the blood H4196 upon the altar H5439 round about.

3 H7126 And he shall offer [H8689] H2077 of the sacrifice H8002 of the peace offering H801 an offering made by fire H3068 unto the LORD H2459 ; the fat H3680 that covereth [H8764] H7130 the inwards H2459 , and all the fat H7130 that is upon the inwards,

4 H8147 And the two H3629 kidneys H2459 , and the fat H3689 that is on them, which is by the flanks H3508 , and the caul H3516 above the liver H3629 , with the kidneys H5493 , it shall he take away [H8686] .

5 H175 And Aaron's H1121 sons H6999 shall burn [H8689] H4196 it on the altar H5930 upon the burnt sacrifice H6086 , which is upon the wood H784 that is on the fire H801 : it is an offering made by fire H5207 , of a sweet H7381 savour H3068 unto the LORD.

6 H7133 And if his offering H2077 for a sacrifice H8002 of peace offering H3068 unto the LORD H6629 be of the flock H2145 ; male H5347 or female H7126 , he shall offer [H8686] H8549 it without blemish.

7 H7126 If he offer [H8688] H3775 a lamb H7133 for his offering H7126 , then shall he offer [H8689] H6440 it before H3068 the LORD.

8 H5564 And he shall lay [H8804] H3027 his hand H7218 upon the head H7133 of his offering H7819 , and kill [H8804] H6440 it before H168 the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation H175 : and Aaron's H1121 sons H2236 shall sprinkle [H8804] H1818 the blood H5439 thereof round about H4196 upon the altar.

9 H7126 And he shall offer [H8689] H2077 of the sacrifice H8002 of the peace offering H801 an offering made by fire H3068 unto the LORD H2459 ; the fat H8549 thereof, and the whole H451 rump H5493 , it shall he take off [H8686] H5980 hard H6096 by the backbone H2459 ; and the fat H3680 that covereth [H8764] H7130 the inwards H2459 , and all the fat H7130 that is upon the inwards,

10 H8147 And the two H3629 kidneys H2459 , and the fat H3689 that is upon them, which is by the flanks H3508 , and the caul H3516 above the liver H3629 , with the kidneys H5493 , it shall he take away [H8686] .

11 H3548 And the priest H6999 shall burn [H8689] H4196 it upon the altar H3899 : it is the food H801 of the offering made by fire H3068 unto the LORD.

12 H7133 And if his offering H5795 be a goat H7126 , then he shall offer [H8689] H6440 it before H3068 the LORD.

13 H5564 And he shall lay [H8804] H3027 his hand H7218 upon the head H7819 of it, and kill [H8804] H6440 it before H168 the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation H1121 : and the sons H175 of Aaron H2236 shall sprinkle [H8804] H1818 the blood H4196 thereof upon the altar H5439 round about.

14 H7126 And he shall offer [H8689] H7133 thereof his offering H801 , even an offering made by fire H3068 unto the LORD H2459 ; the fat H3680 that covereth [H8764] H7130 the inwards H2459 , and all the fat H7130 that is upon the inwards,

15 H8147 And the two H3629 kidneys H2459 , and the fat H3689 that is upon them, which is by the flanks H3508 , and the caul H3516 above the liver H3629 , with the kidneys H5493 , it shall he take away [H8686] .

16 H3548 And the priest H6999 shall burn [H8689] H4196 them upon the altar H3899 : it is the food H801 of the offering made by fire H5207 for a sweet H7381 savour H2459 : all the fat H3068 is the LORD'S.

17 H5769 It shall be a perpetual H2708 statute H1755 for your generations H4186 throughout all your dwellings H398 , that ye eat [H8799] H2459 neither fat H1818 nor blood.

ERV⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offerings; if he offer of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD. ² And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his oblation, and kill it at the door of the tent of meeting: and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about. ³ And he shall offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, ⁴ and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away. ⁵ And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt offering, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. ⁶ And if his oblation for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish. ⁷ If he offer a lamb for his oblation, then shall he offer it before the LORD: ⁸ and he shall lay his hand upon the head of his oblation, and kill it before the tent of meeting: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about. ⁹ And he shall offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat thereof, the fat tail entire, he shall take it away hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, ¹⁰ and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away. ¹¹ And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD. ¹² And if his oblation be a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD: ¹³ and he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tent of meeting: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about. ¹⁴ And he shall offer thereof his oblation, [even] an offering made by fire unto the LORD; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, ¹⁵ and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away. ¹⁶ And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire, for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD’S. ¹⁷ It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that ye shall eat neither fat nor blood.
