Zephaniah 2:8-11 I have heard the reproach of Moab , and the revilings of the children of Ammon , whereby they have reproached my people , and magnified themselves against their border.

9 H2416 Therefore as I live H5002 , saith [H8803] H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H4124 , Surely Moab H5467 shall be as Sodom H1121 , and the children H5983 of Ammon H6017 as Gomorrah H4476 , even the breeding H2738 of nettles H4379 , and saltpits H4417 H5704 , and a perpetual H5769 H8077 desolation H7611 : the residue H5971 of my people H962 shall spoil [H8799] H3499 them, and the remnant H1471 of my people H5157 shall possess [H8799] them.

10 H1347 This shall they have for their pride H2778 , because they have reproached [H8765] H1431 and magnified [H8686] H5971 themselves against the people H3068 of the LORD H6635 of hosts.

11 H3068 The LORD H3372 will be terrible [H8737] H7329 unto them: for he will famish [H8804] H430 all the gods H776 of the earth H7812 ; and men shall worship [H8691] H376 him, every one H4725 from his place H339 , even all the isles H1471 of the heathen.

10 H2063 זאת This H1992 להם H8478 תחת shall they have for H1347 גאונם their pride, H3588 כי because H2778 חרפו they have reproached H1431 ויגדלו and magnified H5921 על against H5971 עם the people H3069 יהוה H6635 צבאות׃ of hosts.

11 H3372 נורא terrible H3068 יהוה The LORD H5921 עליהם unto H3588 כי them: for H7329 רזה he will famish H853 את H3605 כל all H430 אלהי the gods H776 הארץ of the earth; H7812 וישׁתחוו and shall worship H376 לו אישׁ him, every one H4725 ממקומו from his place, H3605 כל all H339 איי the isles H1471 הגוים׃ of the heathen.
