1 Chronicles 19:16-19 And when the Syrians saw that they were put to the worse before Israel , they sent messengers , and drew forth the Syrians that were beyond the river : and Shophach the captain of the host of Hadarezer went before them.

19 H5650 And when the servants H1928 of Hadarezer H7200 saw [H8799] H5062 that they were put to the worse [H8738] H6440 before H3478 Israel H7999 , they made peace [H8686] H1732 with David H5647 , and became his servants [H8799] H14 : neither would [H8804] H758 the Syrians H3467 help [H8687] H1121 the children H5983 of Ammon any more.
