MLV(i)
Now Peter and John were going up at the same time into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
And a certain man, being lame from his mother’s womb, was being bore there, whom they were laying daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask charity from those who travel into the temple.
Seeing Peter and John being about to go into the temple, he asked them for charity.
But Peter, together with John, staring toward him, said, Look toward us.
Now he was taking-heed of them, expecting to receive something from them.
But Peter said, I do not possess silver and gold, but what I have, that I am giving to you. In the name of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, arise and walk.
And he clutched him by the right hand and lifted him up and instantly his feet and his ankles were strengthened.
And leaping up, he stood and was walking, and he entered together with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.
And all the people saw him walking and praising God.
