1 Corinthians 12:14-26

Sawyer(i) 14 For the body also is not one member but many. 15 If the foot says, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? 16 and if the ear says, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body was an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole was a hearing, where would be the smelling? 18 But now God has placed the members each one of them in the body, as he pleased. 19 But if all were one member, where would be the body? 20 But now there are many members, but one body. 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you, or again, the head to the feet, I have no need of you; 22 but much more those members of the body which seem to be weak are necessary, 23 and those which we esteem to be less honorable members of the body, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our uncomely members have more abundant comeliness, 24 for our comely ones have no need. But God has commingled the body, giving more abundant honor to that part which was lacking, 25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; and if one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with it.
