Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered,
"If someone tries to talk to you, will you become impatient? But who can keep from talking?
Look, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened weak hands.
Your words have supported him who was falling, you have strengthened the feeble knees.
But now it has come to you, and you are worn out; it touches you, and you are horrified.
Is not your pious fear your confidence, And your flawless ways your expectation?
Remember, I pray thee, Who, being innocent, hath perished? And where have the upright been cut off?
Just as I have seen, those who plow lawlessness And those who sow misery are harvesting it.
By the breath of God they perish, and by the blast of his anger they are consumed.

The old lion perisheth for lack of prey, and the whelps of the lioness are scattered.
Now a thing was secretly brought to me; my ear received a whisper of it.
In imaginations of visions of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men,
fear and trembling met me, and made my many bones dread.
A spirit glided past me and made the hair on my skin to bristle.
It stood still, but I could not tell the form of it. An image was before my eyes; silence; then I heard a voice,
Can a mortal be more righteous than God? or can a man be more pure than his Maker?
Look, he does not trust in his servants and he charges his angels with error.
How much more, those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before the moth!
Between morning and evening they are destroyed; without anyone regarding it they perish forever.
"Have the ropes of their tent been loosened? Will they die without wisdom?"
