Leviticus 16:5-10 And he shall take of the multitude of the children of Israel two goats for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.

VIN⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁵ And he shall take of the multitude of the children of Israel two goats for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering. ⁶ And Aaron shall offer the young bull for his own sin offering, and make atonement for himself and his household. ⁷ And he is to take the two goats and put them before the Lord at the door of the Tent of meeting. ⁸ Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. ⁹ Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot fell for the LORD, and offer him for a sin offering. ¹⁰ But the goat on which the lot fell for the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to make atonement for him, and then sent away as the scapegoat into the wilderness.
