Daniel 5:20-31

  20 H3825 But when his heart H7313 [H8752] was lifted up H7308 , and his mind H8631 [H8748] hardened H2103 [H8682] in pride H5182 [H8717] , he was deposed H4481 from H4437 his kingly H3764 throne H5709 [H8684] , and they took H3367 his glory H4481 from him:

  21 H2957 [H8752] And he was driven H4481 from H1123 the sons H606 of men H3825 ; and his heart H7739 [H8745] was made H5974 like H2423 the beasts H4070 , and his dwelling H6167 was with the wild donkeys H2939 [H8748] : they fed H6211 him with grass H8450 like oxen H1655 , and his body H6647 [H8721] was wet H2920 with the dew H8065 of heaven H5705 ; till H3046 [H8754] he knew H5943 that the most high H426 God H7990 ruleth H4437 in the kingdom H606 of men H6966 [H8681] , and that he appointeth H5922 over H4479 it whomever H6634 [H8748] he will.

  22 H607 And thou H1247 his son H1113 , O Belshazzar H3809 , hast not H8214 [H8684] humbled H3825 thy heart H6903 , though H3046 [H8754] thou knewest H3606 all H1836 this;

  23 H7313 [H8712] But hast lifted up H5922 thyself against H4756 the Lord H8065 of heaven H858 [H8684] ; and they have brought H3984 the vessels H1005 of his house H6925 before H607 thee, and thou H7261 , and thy lords H7695 , thy wives H3904 , and thy concubines H8355 [H8750] , have drunk H2562 wine H7624 [H8745] in them; and thou hast praised H426 the gods H3702 of silver H1722 , and gold H5174 , of brass H6523 , iron H636 , wood H69 , and stone H2370 [H8751] , which see H3809 not H3809 , nor H8086 [H8750] hear H3809 , nor H3046 [H8751] know H426 : and the God H3028 in whose hand H5396 thy breath H3606 is, and whose are all H735 thy ways H3809 , thou hast not H1922 [H8745] glorified:

  24 H116 Then H6447 was the part H3028 of the hand H7972 [H8750] sent H4481 from H6925 him H1836 ; and this H3792 writing H7560 [H8752] was written.

  25 H1836 And this H3792 is the writing H7560 [H8752] that was written H4484 [H8752] , MENE H4484 [H8752] , MENE H8625 [H8752] , TEKEL H6537 [H8751] , UPHARSIN.

  26 H1836 This H6591 is the interpretation H4406 of the thing H4484 [H8752] : MENE H426 ; God H4483 [H8754] hath numbered H4437 thy kingdom H8000 [H8684] , and finished it.

  27 H8625 [H8752] TEKEL H8625 [H8760] ; Thou art weighed H3977 in the balances H7912 [H8728] , and art found H2627 wanting.

  28 H6537 [H8752] PERES H4437 ; Thy kingdom H6537 [H8752] is divided H3052 [H8753] , and given H4076 to the Medes H6540 and Persians.

  29 H116 Then H560 [H8754] commanded H1113 Belshazzar H3848 [H8684] , and they clothed H1841 Daniel H711 with scarlet H2002 , and put a chain H1722 of gold H5922 about H6676 his neck H3745 [H8684] , and made a proclamation H5922 concerning H1934 [H8748] him, that he should be H8531 the third H7990 ruler H4437 in the kingdom.

  30 H3916 In that night H1113 was Belshazzar H4430 the king H3779 of the Chaldeans H6992 [H8752] slain.

  31 H1868 And Darius H4077 the Median H6902 [H8745] took H4437 the kingdom H8361 , being about sixty H8648 and two H8140 years H1247 old.
