Whiston(i)
How the chief priests and our rulers delivered this man unto the judgement of death, and have crucified him.
But we trusted that it was He who was to redeem Israel: and with all these things to day is the third day since these things were done.
Yea, and certain women also made us astonished, who were early at the sepulchre:
And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
And certain of them who were with us, went to the sepulchre, and found as the women said, But him we have not seen.
But he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart as to all that the prophets have spoken!
That Christ ought to have suffered these things, and to have entred into his glory?
And he began from Moses, and all the prophets, to expound unto them in the scriptures, the things concerning himself.
