⁶ Blessed be Yahweh, Who has not given us as a prey to their teeth."

⁹ The enemy said: I shall pursue! I shall overtake! I shall apportion the loot! My soul's desire shall be fulfilled on them! I shall unsheathe my sword! My hand shall evict them! ¹⁰ You made a breeze with Your wind; the sea covered them. They submerged as lead in the noble waters.

³⁰ Do they not find? --they apportion spoil, A female--two females--for every head, Spoil of finger-work for Sisera, Spoil of embroidered finger-work, Finger-work--a pair of embroidered things, For the necks of the spoil!" ³¹ So do all Your enemies perish, O Yahweh, And those loving Him [are] As the going out of the sun in its might!' and the land rests forty years.

²⁰ `And now, let not my blood fall to the earth over-against the face of Yahweh, for the king of Israel has come out to seek one flea, as [one] pursues the partridge in mountains..

⁹ From the face of the wicked, those who devastate me; My enemies against my soul encompass about me."

¹³ I was pushed, yea pushed so as to fall, Yet Yahweh, He helped me."

⁵ On the honor glorious of Your splendor And the words of Your marvelous works let me meditate. ⁶ The strength of Your fear inspiring deeds may they affirm, And Your great achievements let me relate."

¹⁴ and my hand is finding, as a nest, the estate of the peoples, and, as one gathers forsaken eggs, the entire earth do I gather. And no one comes to be ruffling a wing, or opening wide the mouth and chirping." ¹⁵ Will the axe beautify itself over the one hewing with it? Should the chief's mace magnify itself over the one waving it? As if a club is also waving the one raising it! As if a rod is raising one who is not wood! ¹⁶ Wherefore, the Lord Yahweh of hosts will send upon his stout ones leanness. And under his glory will glow a glowing as the glowing of fire." ¹⁷ And the Light of Israel will come to be a fire, and his Holy One to be a blaze, and it consumes and devours his spines and his buckthorns in one day, ¹⁸ and quenched is the glory of his wildwood, and his crop land. From the soul and unto the flesh, will He finish. And it comes to be as a fleeing when fleeing from a consuming blaze." ¹⁹ And the remainder of the trees of his wildwood will be a number that a lad will list them.
