¹ Why are the nations perturbed? And why do the national groups mumble empty phrases? ² The kings of the earth are standing by, And the chancellors are gathered together Against Yahweh and against His Anointed, saying, ³ Let us pull away their bonds, And let us fling off their ropes from us. ⁴ The One sitting in the heavens, He shall ridicule; Yahweh, He shall deride them. ⁵ Then He shall speak to them in His anger, And in His hot anger He shall fill them with panic, saying, ⁶ I will pour a libation on My King, On Zion, My holy mountain. ⁷ Let me recount the statute of Yahweh:He has said to Me, My Son are You; I, today, have begotten You. ⁸ Ask of Me, And I will give the nations as Your allotment, And as Your holding, the limits of the earth. ⁹ You shall smash them with a club of iron; Like a vessel of a potter, You shall shatter them. ¹⁰ And now, O kings, be intelligent; Be admonished, all judges of the earth;" ¹¹ Serve Yahweh with fear, And exult with quivering. ¹² Bear admonition lest He should be angry, And you should perish in the way, For His anger shall consume speedily. Happy are all those taking refuge in Him.

⁴⁰ You shall be over my household, and at your bidding all my people shall bear weapons. But on the throne will I be greater than you.

¹³ Yet He is One, and who can turn Him back? What His soul has yearned for He shall do.

⁶ For Yahweh is knowing the way of the righteous, Yet the way of the wicked, it shall perish.

⁵ Then He shall speak to them in His anger, And in His hot anger He shall fill them with panic, saying,

¹⁰ And now, O kings, be intelligent; Be admonished, all judges of the earth;"

⁴ Yahweh is in His holy temple; Yahweh--His throne is in the heavens. His eyes are perceiving; His eyelids are testing the sons of humanity.

⁴² I reduced them to powder like the soil before the face of the wind; Like the mud of the streets I pulverized them.

⁸ Your hand shall find all Your enemies; Your right hand, it shall find those hating You." ⁹ You shall make them like a fiery stove in the era of Your presence. Yahweh shall swallow them up in His anger, And fire shall devour them."

²⁷ All the limits of the earth shall remember and return to Yahweh, And all the families of the nations shall bow down before Him."

⁸ Taste and see that Yahweh is good; Happy is the master who takes refuge in Him.

¹³ Yahweh, He is ridiculing him, For He sees that his day shall come."

⁴ Happy is the master who makes Yahweh his trust And does not countenance the audacious Or those swerving to a lie.

⁶ Your throne, O Elohim, is for the eon and further; A scepter of equity is the scepter of Your kingdom." ⁷ You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore Elohim Your Elohim has anointed You With the oil of elation beyond Your partners.

¹² The daughter of Tyre comes with an approach present, The rich of the people are beseeching Your presence."

⁶ The nations clamor; the kingdoms slip; He will give forth His voice; the earth shall dissolve.

⁴ For behold, the kings, they congregated; They crossed over together."

¹⁶ Yet Elohim says to the wicked one, What is it to you to recount My statutes, Or that you bear My covenant on your mouth? ¹⁷ For you, you hate admonition, And you fling My words behind you." ¹⁸ If you see a thief, you approve of him, And your portion is with those committing adultery." ¹⁹ You have given your mouth free rein for evil, And your tongue, it is paired with deceit." ²⁰ You speak shame against your brother; You give out scandal against your mother's son. ²¹ You do these things, yet I keep silent; You imagined that I should become, yea become like you. I shall reprove you, and I will arrange the charge before your eyes." ²² Now understand this, you who are forgetting Eloah, Lest I should tear you to pieces, and there be no rescuer."

⁵ There they were afraid with alarm when no alarm was present, For Elohim, He had dispersed the bones of the foe encamping against you; You put them to shame, for Elohim rejected them."

⁸ Yet You, O Yahweh, You shall ridicule them; You shall deride all the nations."

³³ To the Rider in the heavens of heavens aforetime! Behold, He shall send out His voice, a strong voice."

⁸ He shall hold sway from sea unto sea, And from the stream unto the limits of the earth."

¹⁰ The kings of Tarshish and the coastlands shall render a tributary present; The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer levy. ¹¹ And all the kings shall bow down to Him; All nations shall serve Him.

¹⁸ Remember this:the enemy has reproached You, O Yahweh, And the decadent people have spurned Your Name."

²³ O do not forget the voice of Your foes; The tumult of those rising against You is ascending continually. {Permanent{ {O Do Not Bring Ruin{

⁴⁹ He sent upon them the heat of His anger, Rage and menace and distress, A mission of the messengers of perils, ⁵⁰ Who aligned a track for His anger; He did not keep back their soul from death, And He closed their life over to the plague."

⁶⁸ Yet He chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which He loves;"

⁴ They say, Come, and let us suppress them as a nation, So that the name of Israel shall not be remembered any more." ⁵ For they have intrigued in heart together; Against You are they contracting a covenant, ⁶ The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagarites, ⁷ Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia with the dwellers of Tyre;" ⁸ Even Assyria is allied with them; They have become an arm to the sons of Lot. {Interlude{

⁷ El is greatly terrifying among the council of the saints, And fear inspiring to all those round about Him."

²⁰ I have found David My servant; With My holy oil have I anointed him,

²³ I will pound down his foes before him, And I shall strike against those hating him."

¹ Come, let us be jubilant before Yahweh; Let us raise a joyful shout before the Rock of our salvation." ² Let us go before His presence with acclamation; In melodies may we raise a joyful shout before Him. ³ For Yahweh is the great El, And the great King over all the elohim, ⁴ In Whose hand are the far depths of the earth, And the pinnacles of the mountains are His;" ⁵ Whose is the sea, for He Himself has made it, And the dry land that His hands have formed." ⁶ Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before Yahweh, our Maker." ⁷ For He is our Elohim, And we are the people of His pasture And the flock of His hand. Today, if His voice you should hear, ⁸ You must not be stiffening your heart as in the contention, As in the day of trial in the wilderness,

¹ Yahweh reigns; let the earth exult; Let the many coastlands rejoice.

⁶ He makes them stand for the future, for the eon; He has set down a statute, and it shall not pass away."

²⁶ Indeed, I myself shall ridicule you in your calamity; I shall deride when alarm comes upon you,

²⁰ He who contemplates on the word shall find good, And the one trusting in Yahweh, happy is he."

³⁰ There is no wisdom, there is no comprehension, And there is no counsel in confronting Yahweh."

⁹ Know, you peoples, and be dismayed! And give ear, all you far from the land! Belt yourselves and be dismayed! Belt yourselves and be dismayed!"

⁶ For a Boy is born to us; a Son is given to us, and the chieftainship shall come to be on His shoulder, and His name is called "Marvelous.Counsel to the master shall He bring, to the chief of the future, welfare." ⁷ To the increase of the chieftainship, and to the welfare shall be no end. On the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to prepare it, and to brace it with judgment and with justice, henceforth and in the future eon. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will do this."

⁴ Yet He will judge with righteousness the poor, and correct with equity for the humble of the land. And He will smite the earth with the club of His mouth, and with the spirit of His lips will He put to death the wicked."

³ It is formed to support the preservation of welfare, welfare that trusts in You." ⁴ Trust in Yahweh for the futures of the future. For in Yah, Yahweh is a Rock for the eons."

¹⁴ And it is broken as the breaking of a potter's crock. Pounding He will not spare. And, when it has been pounded, a shard will not be found to bank a fire from glowing coals, or to bare the water from a pool."

¹⁸ Wherefore Yahweh is tarrying, to be gracious to you; wherefore He is exalting Himself to show compassion to you. For an Elohim of judgment is Yahweh, and where are you leaving your glory? Happy are all tarrying for him!"

²² Who is sitting over the circle of the earth, and its dwellers are as grasshoppers? Who is stretching out as a thin gauze the heavens, and bagging them out as a tent to dwell in?

¹⁰ Telling from the beginning, the hereafter, and from aforetime, what has not yet been done. Saying, `All My counsel shall be confirmed, and all My desire will I do.'"

²³ and kings become your foster fathers, and their chiefesses your wet nurses. Nostrils to the earth, shall they prostrate to you, and the soil at your feet shall they lick up. Then you shall know that I am Yahweh, and those expecting Me shall not be ashamed."

¹⁵ So shall He startle many nations, over Him shall kings shut their mouths, for they to whom it had not been related concerning Him, see, and what they had not heard, they consider."

¹⁵ For thus says Yahweh, high and lifted up, who tabernacles the future, and holy is His name:"In the high and holy place am I tabernacling, and with the crushed and lowly spirit, to preserve alive the spirit of the lowly, and to preserve alive the heart of the crushed."

³ And the nations will go to your light, and kings to the brightness of your radiance."

¹⁰ And your walls are built by sons of foreigners, and their kings shall minister to you. For, in My wrath, I smote you, yet, in My acceptance, I have compassion on you." ¹¹ And your gates are open continually. By day and night they shall not be closed, for bringing to you the estate of the nations, with their kings leading." ¹² For the nation and the kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, and these nations shall be deserted, yea deserted."

¹ The spirit of My Lord Yahweh is on Me, because Yahweh anoints Me to bear tidings to the humble. He sends Me to bind up the broken hearted, to herald to captives, liberty, and, to the blind, the unclosing of the eyes, and, to the bound, to take the jubilee,

¹ Thus says Yahweh, "The heavens are My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is this house which you are building for Me? And where is this place of My rest?

⁶ A sound of tumult from the city! A sound from the temple! The voice of Yahweh repaying requital to His enemies!

⁵ I get me to the great, and I speak with them, For they have known the way of Yahweh, The judgment of their Elohim.' Surely they together have broken the yoke, They have drawn away the bands."

⁸ Be instructed, O Jerusalem, Lest My soul be alienated from you, Lest I make you a desolation, a land not inhabited."

⁷ Blessed [is] the man who trusts in Yahweh, And whose confidence has been Yahweh."

¹¹ and have said unto them:Thus said Yahweh of Hosts, Thus do I break this people and this city, as one breaks the potter's vessel, that is not able to be repaired again, and in Tophet they bury--without place to bury;"

⁴⁴ In their days, that is, of these kings, the Eloah of the heavens will set up a kingdom that for the eons shall not come to harm. His kingdom shall not be left to another people. It will pulverize and terminate all these kingdoms, and it shall be confirmed for the eons."

² And now they are continuing to sin. And they are making a molten image for themselves from their silver, according to their model of grief fetishes, the work of artificers, all of them. To them, they are saying, shall be the sacrifices of a human. They shall kiss the calves."

⁹ He who is wise will also understand these things. These being understood, he will also acknowledge them. For the ways of Yahweh are upright, and the righteous will walk in them. Yet the transgressors shall be stumbled in them."

¹⁵ and with great wrath am I wroth over the nations that are tranquil. When I was a little wroth, then they helped toward the evil."

¹⁶ Then Herod, perceiving that he was scoffed at by the magi, was very furious, and, dispatching, he massacred all the boys in Bethlehem and in all its boundaries, from two years and below, according to the time which he ascertains exactly from the magi.

¹⁷ And lo! a voice out of the heavens, saying, "This is My Son, the Beloved, in Whom I delight."

²⁹ And lo! they cry, saying, "What is it to us and to Thee, Son of God! Didst Thou come here to torment us before the season?

¹⁶ Now answering, Simon Peter said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."

⁵ While he is still speaking, lo! a luminous cloud overshadows them, and lo! a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son, the Beloved, in Whom I delight. Hear Him!"

³⁸ Yet the farmers, perceiving the son, said among themselves, 'This is the enjoyer of the allotment. Hither! We should be killing him and have the enjoyment of his allotment.'"

⁴⁴ And he who is falling on this stone shall be shattered, yet on whomever it should be falling, it will be scattering him like chaff."

⁷ Now the king is angered, and, sending his troops, destroys those murderers and sets their city in flames."

³³ Serpents! Progeny of vipers! How may you be fleeing from the judging of Gehenna? ³⁴ Therefore, lo! I am dispatching to you prophets and wise men and scribes. Of them, some you will be killing and crucifying, and of them, some you will be scourging in your synagogues and persecuting from city to city, ³⁵ so that on you should be coming all the just blood shed on the earth, from the blood of just Abel until the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murder between the temple and the altar." ³⁶ Verily, I am saying to you: All these things will be arriving on this generation."

³ Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered in the courtyard of the chief priest, who is termed Caiaphas,

³¹ In the same house some Pharisees approached, saying to Him, "Come out and go hence, for Herod wants to kill you."

³² For He will be given up to the nations and will be scoffed at and outraged and spat upon,

¹⁴ Now his citizens hated him, and they dispatch an embassy after him, saying, 'We do not want this man to reign over us!'"

²⁷ However, these, my enemies, who are not willing for me to reign over them-lead them here and slay them in front of me.'"

⁴³ for the days will be arriving on you, and your enemies will be casting up a rampart about you, and will be surrounding you, and will be pressing you everywhere, ⁴⁴ and will be leveling you and your children in you, and they will not be leaving a stone on a stone in you, because you knew not the era of your visitation."

¹ Now near drew the festival of unleavened bread, termed the Passover." ² And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they may be assassinating Him, for they feared the people."

³⁴ For He Whom God commissions is speaking God's declarations, for God is not giving the spirit by measure."

²³ that all may be honoring the Son, according as they are honoring the Father. He who is not honoring the Son is not honoring the Father Who sends Him."

⁴⁹ Now a certain one of them, Caiaphas, being the chief priest of that year, said to them, "You are not aware of anything, ⁵⁰ neither are you reckoning that it is expedient for us that one man should be dying for the sake of the people and not the whole nation should perish."

⁶ Jesus is saying to him, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one is coming to the Father except through Me."

³⁰ Now the God of our fathers rouses Jesus, on Whom you lay hands, hanging Him on a pole." ³¹ This Inaugurator and Saviour, God exalts to His right hand, to give repentance to Israel and the pardon of sins."

³³ Now those who hear were harrowed, and they intended to assassinate them."

³⁶ Now as they went along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch is averring, "Lo! Water! What is preventing me from being baptized?

⁴ And falling on the earth, he hears a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?

³⁸ Jesus from Nazareth, as God anoints Him with holy spirit and power, Who passed through as a benefactor and healer of all those who are tyrannized over by the Adversary, for God was with Him."

¹ Now at that season Herod the king put forth his hands to illtreat some from the ecclesia. ² Now he assassinated James, the brother of John, with the sword." ³ Now perceiving that it is pleasing to the Jews, he proceeded to apprehend Peter also (now they were the days of unleavened bread), ⁴ whom, arresting also, he placed in jail, giving him over to four quaternions of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to lead him up to the people." ⁵ Peter, indeed, then, was kept in the jail, yet prayer was earnestly made by the ecclesia to God concerning him." ⁶ Now when Herod was about to be leading him to them, in that night Peter was reposing between two soldiers, bound with two chains, besides which guards before the door kept the jail."

³³ that God has fully fulfilled this for our children in raising Jesus, as it is written in the second psalm also, 'My Son art Thou; I, today, have begotten Thee.'"

⁵ Now the Jews, being jealous and taking to themselves some wicked men of the loafers and making up a mob, made a tumult in the city, and, standing by the house of Jason, they sought to lead them before the populace." ⁶ Now, not finding them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the city magistrates, imploring that "Those who raise the inhabited earth to insurrection, these are present in this place also,

²⁸ Now, hearing this and becoming full of fury, they cried, saying, "Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!" ²⁹ And filled is the city with confusion. Besides, they rush with one accord into the theater, gripping Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, fellow travelers of Paul." ³⁰ (Now, at Paul's intending to enter in to the populace, the disciples did not let him." ³¹ Yet some of the chiefs of the province of Asia also, being his friends, sending to him, entreated him not to venture into the theater himself.)" ³² Others, indeed, then, cried some other thing, for the ecclesia was in confusion, and the majority were not aware on what account they had come together."

⁴ Who is designated Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection of the dead),

³³ according as it is written: Lo! I am laying in Zion a Stumbling Stone and a Snare Rock, And the one believing on Him shall not be disgraced."

¹² that we should be for the laud of His glory, who are pre-expectant in the Christ."

⁹ Wherefore, also, God highly exalts Him, and graces Him with the name that is above every name, ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean, ¹¹ and every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, for the glory of God, the Father." ¹² So that, my beloved, according as you always obey, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, with fear and trembling, be carrying your own salvation into effect,

⁸ in flaming fire, dealing out vengeance to those who are not acquainted with God and those who are not obeying the evangel of our Lord Jesus Christ" ⁹ who shall incur the justice of eonian extermination from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of His strength"

⁵ For to whom of the messengers said He at any time, "My Son art Thou! I, today, have begotten Thee"? And again, "I shall be to Him for a Father And He shall be to Me for a Son"? ⁶ Now, whenever He may again be leading the Firstborn into the inhabited earth, He is saying: And worship Him, all the messengers of God!"

⁹ Thou lovest righteousness and hatest injustice; Therefore Thou art anointed by God, Thy God, with the oil of exultation beyond Thy partners."

²⁸ Wherefore, accepting an unshakable kingdom, we may have grace through which we may be offering divine service in a way well pleasing to God, with piety and dread, ²⁹ for our God is also a consuming fire.

And they are having no rest day and night, those worshiping the wild beast and its image, and if anyone is getting the emblem of its name."
