¹ Korah son of Izhar, son of Kohath, son of Levi, arose along with Dathan and Abiram, sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth (sons of Reuben);"

³² and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households and all the humans who were with Korah and all the goods.

¹¹ Yet the sons of Korah did not die.

³³ And these [are] those standing, and their sons:of the sons of the Kohathite:Heman the singer, son of Joel, son of Shemuel, ³⁴ son of Elkanah, son of Jeroham, son of Eliel, son of Toah, ³⁵ son of Zuph, son of Elkanah, son of Mahath, son of Amasai, ³⁶ son of Elkanah, son of Joel, son of Azariah, son of Zephaniah, ³⁷ son of Tahath, son of Assir, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah,

¹ And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals, and the number of the workmen is according to their service. ² Of sons of Asaph:Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, sons of Asaph, [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king. ³ Of Jeduthun:sons of Jeduthun, Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, Shisshah, [are] by the side of their father Jeduthun; with a harp he is prophesying, for giving of thanks and of praise to Yahweh. ⁴ Of Heman:sons of Heman:Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;" ⁵ all these [are] sons of Heman--seer of the king in the things of Elohim--to lift up a horn; and Elohim gives to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

¹ {A Psalm for the Sons of Korah{ Hear this, all peoples! Give ear, all dwellers of this transience!"

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ {When he was in the wilderness of Judah{ O Elohim, You are my El! Early am I seeking You. My soul thirsts for You. My flesh craves for You, Like a land arid and faint, without water." ² So longing, in the Sanctuary, I envisioned You, Beholding Your strength and Your glory;"

¹ {For the Sons of Korah, A Psalm{ How endearing is Your Grand Tabernacle, O Yahweh of hosts." ² My soul longs for and even consumes for the courts of Yahweh; My heart and my flesh, they are appealing to the living El."

¹ {For the Sons of Korah, A Psalm{ You have held Your land dear, O Yahweh; You have reversed the captivity of Jacob."

¹³¹ With my mouth I gape; so let me gasp, For I ardently desire Your instructions."

⁶ I spread forth my hands to You; My soul looks to You like a fainting land. {Interlude{ ⁷ Quickly answer me, O Yahweh; my spirit is exhausted; O do not conceal Your face from me, Or I would become comparable with descenders to the crypt."

⁸ Indeed, in the path of Your judgments, Yahweh, we expect You. To Your name and to Your law is the yearning of our soul." ⁹ With my soul I yearn for You in the night. Indeed, with my spirit within me I will seek You early. For as a light are Your judgments to the earth, the dwellers of the habitance learn righteousness."
