²⁰ Peter turned and saw following them the disciple whom Jesus loved, who had leaned on his breast at the supper and had said, "Lord, who is the one who is going to betray you?"

²³ One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was leaning close to the breast of Jesus. ²⁴ Simon Peter motioned to him and said, "Ask who it is of whom he speaks." ²⁵ Then, leaning back on the breast of Jesus, he said to him, "Lord, who is it?" ²⁶ Jesus answered, "It is he to whom I shall give this piece of bread when I have dipped it." And having dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

² So she ran, and came to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him."

⁷ Then that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and threw himself into the sea.

²⁴ This is the disciple who testifies to these things, and who wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true.
