⁸ Commit [thyself] unto the LORD; let him deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighteth in him.

¹ A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are mine adversaries increased! many are they that rise up against me. ² Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah

¹⁹ He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

⁵ Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.

¹⁰ As with a sword in my bones, mine adversaries reproach me; while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?

²² Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

¹¹ Saying, God hath forsaken him: pursue and take him; for there is none to deliver.

¹⁴ Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

³ Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

¹ Behold my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

¹⁷ and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

¹⁸ Behold, my servant whom I have chosen; My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, And he shall declare judgment to the Gentiles.

⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

⁴² He saved others; himself he cannot save. He is the King of Israel; let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on him. ⁴³ He trusteth on God; let him deliver him now, if he desireth him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

³⁰ save thyself, and come down from the cross. ³¹ In like manner also the chief priests mocking [him] among themselves with the scribes said, He saved others; himself he cannot save. ³² Let the Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reproached him.

³⁵ And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also scoffed at him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if this is the Christ of God, his chosen.
