³⁶ Simon Peter sayed vnto hym. Lorde whyther goest thou? Iesus aunswered hym: Whether I go thou canste not folowe me now, but thou shalt folow me afterwarde.

³³ Deare chyldren, yet a lytell whyle am I with you, ye shall seke me, and as I sayde vnto the Iewes: whyther I go, thyther can ye not come. Also to you saye I now:

² In my fathers house are manye mansyons. Yf it were not so, I wolde haue told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

⁴ And whyther I go, ye knowe, and the waye ye knowe. ⁵ Thomas sayde vnto him: Lorde we know not whether thou goest Also how is it possyble for vs to knowe the waye?

¹⁷ Then sayed some of hys disciples amonge them selues: what is this that he sayeth vnto vs: after a whyle ye shall not se me, & agayne after a whyle ye shall se me, and that I go to the father.

¹⁴ for as muche as I am sure how that the tyme is at hande, that I must put of my tabernacle, euen as our Lord Iesus Christ hath shewed me.
