⁵ While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and a voice out of the cloud said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear him.

¹⁷ And lo, a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

¹⁸ Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall proclaim justice to the Gentiles.

¹¹ And there came a voice from heaven, saying, You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

⁷ And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

²² And the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.

³⁴ While he spoke, a cloud came and enveloped them: and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. ³⁵ And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my Son, my Chosen: hear him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

³⁵ The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.

²⁰ For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that he is doing: and he will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel. ²¹ For as the Father raises up the dead, and gives them life; even so the Son gives life to whom he will. ²² For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son: ²³ That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who has sent him.

³⁷ And the Father himself, who has sent me, has borne witness of me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.

²⁸ Father, glorify your name. Then there came a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. ²⁹ The crowd that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spoke to him. ³⁰ Jesus answered and said, This voice came not for me, but for your sakes.

⁹ As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you: abide in my love. ¹⁰ If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

⁹ And when he had spoken these things, while they watched, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

²² For Moses said, The Lord your God shall raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brethren; you shall hear him in all things, whatever he shall say to you. ²³ And it shall come to pass, that anyone who will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

³⁷ This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, The Lord your God shall raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brethren.

³ And as he traveled, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there flashed around him a light from heaven: ⁴ And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? ⁵ And he said, Who are you, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. ⁶ Arise, and go into the city, and you shall be told what you must do.

⁶ To the praise of his glorious grace, which he freely bestowed upon us in the beloved.

¹³ He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

¹ God, who spoke in times past to our fathers by the prophets at many times and in various ways, ² Has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

¹ Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should slip away. ² For if the word spoken by angels was binding, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence; ³ How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? It was at first announced by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard him;

⁹ And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation for all those who obey him;

²⁵ See that you do not refuse him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused him who warned them on earth, much less shall we escape, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven. ²⁶ And his voice shook the earth then: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also heaven.

¹⁶ For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. ¹⁷ For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came a voice to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

⁷ Behold, he comes with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, even those who pierced him: and all families of the earth shall mourn because of him. Even so, Amen.
