¹ O give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name. Make known among the peoples his practices.

²³ For there is not a spell against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel. Now it is said of Jacob and Israel, See what God has done!

⁷ Then on that day David first gave by the hand of Asaph and his brothers to give thanks to the LORD. ⁸ Give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Make known among the nations what he has done. ⁹ Sing to him; sing praises to him; tell of his wondrous works! ¹⁰ Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek the LORD rejoice. ¹¹ Seek ye the LORD and his strength, seek his face always. ¹² Remember his wonders! what he did; his miracles and the judgments of his mouth. ¹³ O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones! ¹⁴ He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. ¹⁵ Remember his covenant forever, the word he commanded for a thousand generations, ¹⁶ the covenant that he made with Abraham, and the oath he swore to Isaac. ¹⁷ He confirmed it to Jacob for an ordinance, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, ¹⁸ 'To thee I will give the land of Canaan, to be the portion of your inheritance.' ¹⁹ when ye were but few in number, and strangers in it. ²⁰ They wandered from nation to nation and from one kingdom to another. ²¹ He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings: ²² "Do not touch my anointed ones. Do my prophets no harm."

³⁴ Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever.

⁶ Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel was among those who call on his name. They called on the LORD, and he answered them.

¹¹ They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom, and talk of Your might; ¹² To make known to the children of men his mighty acts, and the glorious splendour of his kingdom.

⁴ In that day you will say: "Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.

¹⁰ Was it not you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep, who made a road in the depths of the sea so that the redeemed might cross over?

²⁹ "Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut into pieces. Their houses shall be made a dunghill. There is no other god that is able to deliver like this."

¹ ¶ King Nebuchadnezzar, to all the peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you. ² It gives me great pleasure to tell about the signs and wonders that the Most High God has done for me. ³ How great are his signs! How mighty are his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. His dominion is from generation to generation.

²⁶ "I hereby decree that in every area of my kingdom men are to fear and tremble before the God of Daniel. For he is the living God, who endures forever. His kingdom is one that will not be destroyed, and his dominion continues forever. ²⁷ He helps and delivers, and works signs and wonders in the heaven and on the earth, who has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.

³² And it will happen—everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be rescued, because on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as the LORD said, and among the survivors whom the LORD is calling.

¹⁴ And now he is here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on Your name.”
