1 Thessalonians 5:3-7

  5:3   3752-1063 όταν γαρ For whenever 3004 λέγωσιν they should say, 1515 ειρήνη Peace 2532 και and 803 ασφάλεια safety, 5119 τότε then 160 αιφνίδιος sudden 1473-2186 αυτοίς εφίσταται [²sets upon them 3639 όλεθρος ¹ruin], 5618 ώσπερ as if 3588 η the 5604 ωδίν pangs 3588 τη to the one 1722 εν [²in 1064 γαστρί ³the womb 2192 εχούση ¹having one]; 2532 και and 3766.2 ου μη in no way 1628 εκφύγωσιν should they flee from it.   5:4   1473-1161 υμείς δε But you, 80 αδελφοί brethren, 3756-1510.2.5 ουκ εστέ are not 1722 εν in 4655 σκότει darkness, 2443 ίνα that 3588 η the 2250 ημέρα day 1473 υμάς [²you 5613 ως ³as 2812 κλέπτης ⁴a thief 2638 καταλάβη ¹should overtake].   5:5   3956 πάντες [³all 1473 υμείς ¹You 5207 υιοί ⁴sons 5457 φωτός ⁵of light 1510.2.5 εστε ²are], 2532 και and 5207 υιοί sons 2250 ημέρας of day; 3756-1510.2.4 ουκ εσμέν we are not 3571 νυκτός of night 3761 ουδέ nor 4655 σκότους of darkness.   5:6   686 άρα So 3767 ούν then 3361 μη we should not 2518 καθεύδωμεν be sleeping 5613 ως as 2532 και also 3588 οι the 3062 λοιποί rest; 235 αλλά but 1127 γρηγορώμεν we should be vigilant 2532 και and 3525 νήφωμεν be sober.   5:7   3588-1063 οι γαρ For the ones 2518 καθεύδοντες sleeping, 3571 νυκτός [²night 2518 καθεύδουσι ¹sleep at]; 2532 και and 3588 οι the ones 3182 μεθυσκόμενοι being intoxicated, 3571 νυκτός [²at night 3184 μεθύουσιν ¹are intoxicated].
