James 4:1-6

  4:1   4159 πόθεν From where come 4171 πόλεμοι wars 2532 και and 3163 μάχαι fights 1722 εν among 1473 υμίν you? 3756 ουκ Is it not 1782 εντεύθεν from here, 1537 εκ from 3588 των   2237-1473 ηδονών υμών your pleasures 3588 των   4754 στρατευομένων soldiering 1722 εν in 3588 τοις   3196-1473 μέλεσιν υμών your members?   4:2   1937 επιθυμείτε You desire 2532 και and 3756 ουκ do not 2192 έχετε have; 5407 φονεύετε you murder 2532 και and 2206 ζηλούτε are jealous, 2532 και and 3756 ου are not 1410 δύνασθε able 2013 επιτυχείν to succeed; 3164 μάχεσθε you do combat 2532 και and 4170 πολεμείτε wage war; 3756-2192 ουκ έχετε you have not 1223 διά because 3588 το   3361 μη [²do not 154 αιτείσθαι ³ask 1473 υμάς ¹you].   4:3   154 αιτείτε You ask, 2532 και and 3756 ου do not 2983 λαμβάνετε receive, 1360 διότι because 2560 κακώς wickedly 154 αιτείσθε you ask, 2443 ίνα that 1722 εν [²for 3588 ταις   2237-1473 ηδοναίς υμών ³your own pleasures 1159 δαπανήσητε ¹you should spend].   4:4   3432 μοιχοί Adulterers 2532 και and 3428 μοιχαλίδες adulteresses, 3756 ουκ do you not 1492 οίδατε know 3754 ότι that 3588 η the 5373 φιλία friendship 3588 του of the 2889 κόσμου world 2189 έχθρα [²hatred 3588 του   2316 θεού ³of God 1510.2.3 εστίν ¹is]? 3739 ος Who 302 αν ever 3767 ούν therefore 1014 βουληθή should want 5384-1510.1 φίλος είναι to be a friend 3588 του of the 2889 κόσμου world, 2190 εχθρός [²as enemy 3588 του   2316 θεού ³of God 2525 καθίσταται ¹stands].   4:5   2228 η Or 1380 δοκείτε do you think 3754 ότι that 2761 κενώς uselessly 3588 η the 1124 γραφή scripture 3004 λέγει says, 4314 προς [⁸with 5355 φθόνον ⁹envy 1971 επιποθεί ⁷longs after 3588 το ¹The 4151 πνεύμα ²spirit 3739 ο ³which 2730 κατώκησεν ⁴dwells 1722 εν ⁵in 1473 ημίν ⁶us]?   4:6   3173 μείζονα [³greater 1161 δε ¹But 1325 δίδωσι ²he gives] 5484 χάριν favor. 1352 διό Therefore 3004 λέγει he says, 2962 κύριος The lord 5244 υπερηφάνοις [²the proud 498 αντιτάσσεται ¹resists], 5011-1161 ταπεινοίς δε but to the humble 1325 δίδωσι he gives 5484 χάριν favor.
