Nehemiah 13:23-27 In those days also I saw Judeans that had married women of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab:

24 H1121 And their sons H1696 [H8764] spoke H2677 half H797 in the speech of Ashdod, H5234 [H8688] and could H1696 [H8763] not speak H3066 in the Judean's language, H3956 but according to the language H5971 of each H5971 people.

25 H7378 [H8799] And I contended H7043 [H8762] with them, and cursed H5221 [H8686] them, and smote H582 certain H4803 [H8799] of them, and plucked off their hair, H7650 [H8686] and made them swear H430 by God, H5414 [H8799] saying, Ye shall not give H1323 your daughters H1121 to their sons, H5375 [H8799] nor take H1323 their daughters H1121 to your sons, or for yourselves.

27 H8085 [H8799] Shall we then hearken H6213 [H8800] to you to do H1419 all this great H7451 evil, H4603 [H8800] to transgress H430 against our God H3427 [H8687] in marrying H5237 foreign H802 women?
