Judges 2:1-11 And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you to the land which I swore to your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

2 H3772 And you shall make H3808 no H1285 league H3427 with the inhabitants H2063 of this H776 land; H5422 you shall throw H5422 down H4196 their altars: H8085 but you have not obeyed H6963 my voice: H4100 why H6213 have you done H2063 this?

3 H1571 Why I also H559 said, H1644 I will not drive H6440 them out from before H6654 you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, H430 and their gods H4170 shall be a snare to you.

4 H1961 And it came H4397 to pass, when the angel H3068 of the LORD H1696 spoke H428 these H1697 words H3605 to all H1121 the children H3478 of Israel, H5971 that the people H5375 lifted H6963 up their voice, H1058 and wept.

5 H7121 And they called H8034 the name H4725 of that place H1066 Bochim: H2076 and they sacrificed H8033 there H3068 to the LORD.

6 H3091 And when Joshua H5971 had let the people H7971 go, H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H3212 went H376 every man H5159 to his inheritance H3423 to possess H776 the land.

7 H5971 And the people H5647 served H3068 the LORD H3605 all H3117 the days H3091 of Joshua, H3605 and all H3117 the days H2205 of the elders H748 that outlived H3091 Joshua, H834 who H7200 had seen H3605 all H1419 the great H4639 works H3068 of the LORD, H6213 that he did H3478 for Israel.

8 H3091 And Joshua H1121 the son H5126 of Nun, H5650 the servant H3068 of the LORD, H4191 died, H3967 being an hundred H6235 and ten H8141 years H1121 old.

9 H6912 And they buried H1366 him in the border H5159 of his inheritance H8556 in Timnathheres, H2022 in the mount H669 of Ephraim, H6828 on the north H2022 side of the hill H1608 Gaash.
