2 Peter 3 This is now, beloved, the second epistle that I write unto you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by putting you in remembrance;

2 G3415 that ye should remember G4487 the words G4280 which were spoken before G5259 by G40 the holy G4396 prophets, G2532 and G1785 the commandments G2962 of the Lord G2532 and G4990 Saviour G2257 through your G652 apostles:

3 G1097 knowing G5124 this G4412 first, G3754 that G1909 in G2078 the last G2250 days G1703 mockers G2064 shall come G4198 with mockery, walking G2596 after G846 their G2398 own G1939 lusts,

4 G2532 and G3004 saying, G4226 Where G2076 is G1860 the promise G3952 of G846 his G3952 coming? G1063 for, G575 from G3739 the day that G3962 the fathers G2837 fell asleep, G3956 all things G1265 continue G3779 as G575 they were from G746 the beginning G2937 of the creation.

5 G1063 For G5124 this G846 they G2309 willfully G2990 forget, G3754 that G2258 there were G3772 heavens G2990 from of G1597 old, G2532 and G1093 an earth G4921 compacted G1537 out of G5204 water G2532 and G5204 amidst water, G3056 by the word G2316 of God;

6 G1223 by G3739 which G2889 means the world G5119 that then was, G2626 being overflowed G5204 with water, G622 perished:

7 G1161 but G3772 the heavens G3568 that now G2532 are, and G846 the earth, G3056 by G846 the same G3056 word G1526 have been G2343 stored G4442 up for fire, G5083 being reserved G1519 against G2250 the day G2920 of judgment G2532 and G684 destruction G444 of G765 ungodly G444 men.

8 G1161 But G2990 forget G5209 G3361 not G1520 this one G5124 thing, G27 beloved, G3754 that G3391 one G2250 day G3844 is with G2962 the Lord G5613 as G5507 a thousand G2094 years, G2532 and G5507 a thousand G2094 years G5613 as G3391 one G2250 day.

9 G2962 The Lord G1019 is G3756 not G1019 slack G1860 concerning his promise, G5613 as G5100 some G2233 count G1022 slackness; G235 but G3114 is longsuffering G1519 to G2248 you-ward, G3361 not G1014 wishing that G5100 any G622 should perish, G235 but that G3956 all G5562 should come G1519 to G3341 repentance.

10 G1161 But G2250 the day G2962 of the Lord G2240 will come G5613 as G2812 a thief; G1722 G3571 G1722 in G3739 the which G3772 the heavens G3928 shall pass away G4500 with a great noise, G1161 and G4747 the elements G3089 shall be dissolved G2741 with fervent heat, G2532 and G1093 the earth G2532 and G2041 the works G3588 that are G1722 therein G846 G2618 shall be burned up.

11 G3767 Seeing that G5130 these things G3956 are thus all G3089 to be dissolved, G4217 what manner G1163 of persons ought G5209 ye G5225 to be G1722 in G40 all holy G391 living G2532 and G2150 godliness,

12 G4328 looking for G2532 and G4692 earnestly desiring G3952 the coming G2250 of the day G3739 of God, G1223 by G3772 reason of which the heavens G4448 being on fire G3089 shall be dissolved, G2532 and G4747 the elements G5080 shall melt G2741 with fervent heat?

13 G1161 But, G2596 according to G846 his G1862 promise, G4328 we G4328 look for G2537 new G3772 heavens G2532 and G2537 a new G1093 earth, G1722 wherein G3739 G2730 dwelleth G1343 righteousness.

14 G1352 Wherefore, G27 beloved, G4328 seeing that ye look for G5023 these things, G4704 give diligence that G2147 ye may be found G1722 in G1515 peace, G784 without spot G2532 and G298 blameless G846 in his sight.

15 G2532 And G2233 account G3115 that the longsuffering G2962 of G2257 our G2962 Lord G4991 is salvation; G2531 even as G2257 our G27 beloved G80 brother G3972 Paul G2532 also, G2596 according to G4678 the wisdom G1325 given G846 to him, G1125 wrote G5213 unto you;

17 G5210 Ye G3767 therefore, G27 beloved, G4267 knowing G5442 these things beforehand, beware G3363 lest, G1601 being carried G4879 away G4106 with the error G113 of the wicked, G1601 ye fall from G2398 your own G4740 stedfastness.

18 G1161 But G837 grow G1722 in G5485 the grace G2532 and G1108 knowledge G2962 of G2257 our G2962 Lord G2532 and G4990 Saviour G2424 Jesus G5547 Christ. G846 To him G1391 be the glory G2532 both G3568 now G2532 and G1519 for G2250 G165 ever. G281 Amen.
