14 H6996 There was a little H5892 city, H4592 and few H582 men H935 within it; and there came H1419 a great H4428 king H5437 against it, and besieged H1129 it, and built H1419 great H4685 bulwarks against it.

15 H4672 Now there was found H4542 in it a poor H2450 wise H376 man, H2451 and he by his wisdom H4422 delivered H5892 the city; H120 yet no man H2142 remembered H4542 that same poor H376 man.

16 H559 Then said H2451 I, Wisdom H2896 is better H1369 than strength: H4542 nevertheless the poor man's H2451 wisdom H959 is despised, H1697 and his words H8085 are not heard.

17 H1697 The words H2450 of the wise H8085 heard H5183 in quiet H2201 are better than the cry H4910 of him that ruleth H3684 among fools.

18 H2451 Wisdom H2896 is better H3627 than weapons H7128 of war; H259 but one H2398 sinner H6 destroyeth H7235 much H2896 good.
