Jeremiah 3:8-14 And I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorcement, yet treacherous Judah her sister feared not; but she also went and played the harlot.

9 H6963 And it came to pass through the lightness H2184 of her whoredom, H776 that the land H2610 was polluted, H5003 and she committed adultery H68 with stones H6086 and with stocks.

10 H901 And yet for all this her treacherous H269 sister H3063 Judah H7725 hath not returned H3820 unto me with her whole heart, H8267 but feignedly, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah.

11 H3068 And Jehovah H559 said H4878 unto me, Backsliding H3478 Israel H5315 hath showed herself H6663 more righteous H898 than treacherous H3063 Judah.

12 H1980 Go, H7121 and proclaim H1697 these words H6828 toward the north, H559 and say, H7725 Return, H4878 thou backsliding H3478 Israel, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah; H5307 I will not look H6440 in anger H2623 upon you; for I am merciful, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah, H5201 I will not keep H5769 anger for ever.

13 H3045 Only acknowledge H5771 thine iniquity, H6586 that thou hast transgressed H3068 against Jehovah H430 thy God, H6340 and hast scattered H1870 thy ways H2114 to the strangers H7488 under every green H6086 tree, H8085 and ye have not obeyed H6963 my voice, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah.

14 H7725 Return, H7726 O backsliding H1121 children, H5002 saith H3068 Jehovah; H1166 for I am a husband H3947 unto you: and I will take H259 you one H5892 of a city, H8147 and two H4940 of a family, H935 and I will bring H6726 you to Zion:
