John 11:55-57 Ἦν (Was) δὲ (now) ἐγγὺς (near) τὸ (the) πάσχα (Passover) τῶν (of the) Ἰουδαίων (Jews), καὶ (and) ἀνέβησαν (went up) πολλοὶ (many) εἰς (to) Ἱεροσόλυμα (Jerusalem) ἐκ (out of) τῆς (the) χώρας (region) πρὸ (before) τοῦ (the) πάσχα (Passover), ἵνα (so that) ἁγνίσωσιν (they might purify) ἑαυτούς (themselves).
