Judges 10:7-18 And the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the sons of Ammon.

8 H8141 And that year H7492 they troubled H7533 and oppressed H1121 the sons H3478 of Israel: H8083 eighteen H8141 years, H1121 all the sons H3478 of Israel H5676 that were on the other side H3383 Jordan H776 in the land H567 of the Amorites, H1568 which is in Gilead.

9 H1121 Moreover the sons H5983 of Ammon H5674 passed over H3383 Jordan H3898 to fight H3063 also against Judah, H1144 and against Benjamin, H1004 and against the house H669 of Ephraim; H3478 so that Israel H3966 was very H3334 distressed.

10 H1121 And the sons H3478 of Israel H2199 cried H3068 unto the Lord, H559 saying, H2398 We have sinned H5800 against you, both because we have forsaken H430 our God, H5647 and also served H1168 Baalim.

11 H3068 And the Lord H559 said H1121 unto the sons H3478 of Israel, H4714 Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians, H567 and from the Amorites, H1121 from the sons H5983 of Ammon, H6430 and from the Philistines?

12 H6722 The Zidonians H6002 also, and the Amalekites, H4584 and the Maonites, H3905 did oppress H6817 you; and you cried H3467 to me, and I delivered H3027 you out of their hand.

13 H5800 Yet you have forsaken H5647 me, and served H312 other H430 gods: H3467 why I will deliver H3254 you no more.

14 H3212 Go H2199 and cry H430 unto the gods H977 which you have chosen; H1992 let them H3467 deliver H6256 you in the time H6869 of your tribulation.

15 H1121 And the sons H3478 of Israel H559 said H3068 unto the Lord, H2398 We have sinned: H6213 do H5869 you unto us whatever seems H2896 good H5337 unto you; deliver H3117 us only, we pray you, this day.

16 H5493 And they put away H5236 the strange H430 gods H7130 from among H5647 them, and served H3068 the Lord: H5315 and his soul H7114 was grieved H5999 for the misery H3478 of Israel.

17 H1121 Then the sons H5983 of Ammon H6817 were gathered together, H2583 and encamped H1568 in Gilead. H1121 And the sons H3478 of Israel H622 assembled themselves together, H2583 and encamped H4709 in Mizpeh.

18 H5971 And the people H8269 and princes H1568 of Gilead H559 said H376 one H7453 to another, H376 What man H2490 is he that will begin H3898 to fight H1121 against the sons H5983 of Ammon? H7218 he shall be head H3427 over all the inhabitants H1568 of Gilead.
