Deuteronomy 11

ECB(i) 1
LOVE YAH VEH And you, love Yah Veh your Elohim and guard his guard and his statutes and his judgments and his misvoth all days. 2 And you, know this day - not your sons who knew not and who saw not the discipline of Yah Veh your Elohim - his greatness, his strong hand and his spread arm 3 and his signs and his works which he worked midst Misrayim to Paroh the sovereign of Misrayim and to all his land; 4 and what he worked to the valiant of Misrayim - to their horses and to their chariots; how he overflowed the water of the Reed sea at their face as they pursued after you; and how Yah Veh destroyed them to this day; 5 and what he worked to you in the wilderness until you came to this place; 6 and what he worked to Dathan and Abi Ram the sons of Eli Ab the son of Reu Ben - how the earth gaped her mouth and swallowed them and their households and their tents and every risen being at their feet midst all Yisra El: 7 but your eyes see all the great works Yah Veh worked. 8 Guard all the misvoth I misvah you this day; that you prevail and go in and possess the land where you go pass over to possess it; 9 and that you prolong your days in the soil Yah Veh oathed to your fathers to give to them and to their seed - a land flowing with milk and honey. 10 For the land you go to possess is not as the land of Misrayim whence you came - where you seeded your seed and moistened with your foot as a garden of herbs: 11 but the land, you pass over to possess is a land of mountains and valleys; and drinks water of the rain of the heavens: 12 a land Yah Veh your Elohim searched out: the eyes of Yah Veh your Elohim are continually thereon - from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year. 13 And so be it, if in hearing, you hear the misvoth I misvah this day, to love Yah Veh your Elohim, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14 That I give your land rain in time - the early rain and the after rain; and you gather in your crop and your juice and your oil: 15 and I give herbage in your fields for your animals so that you eat and satiate. 16 Guard yourselves, lest you delude your heart, and turn and serve other elohim and prostrate to them; 17 and Yah Weh kindles his wrath against you and restrains the heavens that there be no rain and that the soil give not her produce; and lest you destruct quickly from off the good land Yah Veh gives you. 18 Set these my words in your heart and in your soul and bind them for a sign on your hand, to be as phylacteries between your eyes: 19 and teach them to your sons, wording of them, when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up; 20 and inscribe them on the door posts of your house and on your portals: 21 that your days and the days of your sons abound in the soil Yah Veh oathed to give your fathers as the days of the heavens on the earth. 22 For if in guarding, you guard all these misvoth I misvah you, to work them - to love Yah Veh your Elohim, to walk in all his ways and to adhere to him; 23 then Yah Veh dispossesses all these goyim from your face and you possess goyim greater and mightier than yourselves. 24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet tread becomes yours - from the wilderness and Lebanon - from the river - the river Euphrates even to the latter sea becomes your border. 25 No man is able to stand at your face: for Yah Veh your Elohim gives the fear of you and the awesomeness of you on the face of all the land you tread on, as he worded to you. 26 See, I set at your face this day a blessing and an abasement: 27 a blessing: if you hear the misvoth of Yah Veh your Elohim, which I misvah you this day: 28 and an abasement: if you hear not the misvoth of Yah Veh your Elohim, but turn from the way I misvah you this day, to go after other elohim, which you know not. 29 And so be it, when Yah Veh your Elohim brings you to the land you go to possess, give the blessing on mount Gerizim and the abasement on mount Ebal. 30 are they not on the other side Yarden, behind the way of the entrance of the sun, in the land of the Kenaaniy, who settle in the plains opposite Gilgal, beside the mighty oaks of Moreh? 31 Pass over Yarden; go possess the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you - possess it and settle therein: 32 and guard to work all the statutes and judgments I set at your face this day.
