2 and says to his lads, This is Yahn the Baptizer; he is risen from the dead; and because of this, dynamis energizes in him.
3 For Herod had overpowered Yahn, and bound him, and put him in a guardhouse for sake of Herodias the woman of his brother Philippos:
4 for Yahn had worded to him, You are not allowed to have her!
5 - and he wills to slaughter him but he awes the multitude because they regard him as a prophet.
6 But the birthday of Herod is brought on; and the daughter of Herodias dances among them and pleases Herod:
7 whereupon he professes with an oath to give her whatever she asks.
8 And she, being previously instigated by her mother, Give me here, she says, the head of Yahn the Baptizer on a platter.
9 And the sovereign sorrows: nevertheless for sake of the oath and them who repose with him, he summons to give it to her:
10 and he sends and beheads Yahn in the guardhouse:
11 and they bring his head on a platter and give it to the maiden: and she brings it to her mother.
12 And his disciples come and take the body and entomb it; and go and evangelize to Yah Shua.
13 When Yah Shua hears he departs in a sailer privately to a desolate place: and when the multitude hears thereof they follow him on foot from the cities:
14 and Yah Shua goes and sees a great vast multitude and has a sympathetic spleen toward them; and he cures their infirm.
