2 Chronicles 17:3-9 ויהי was יהוה And the LORD עם with יהושׁפט Jehoshaphat, כי because הלך he walked בדרכי ways דויד David, אביו of his father הראשׁנים in the first ולא not דרשׁ and sought לבעלים׃ unto Baalim;

3 H1961 ויהי was H3068 יהוה And the LORD H5973 עם with H3092 יהושׁפט Jehoshaphat, H3588 כי because H1980 הלך he walked H1870 בדרכי ways H1732 דויד David, H1 אביו of his father H7223 הראשׁנים in the first H3808 ולא not H1875 דרשׁ and sought H1168 לבעלים׃ unto Baalim;

4 H3588 כי But H430 לאלהי to the God H1 אביו of his father, H1875 דרשׁ sought H4687 ובמצותיו in his commandments, H1980 הלך and walked H3808 ולא and not H4639 כמעשׂה after the doings H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

5 H3559 ויכן established H3068 יהוה Therefore the LORD H853 את H4467 הממלכה the kingdom H3027 בידו in his hand; H5414 ויתנו brought H3605 כל and all H3063 יהודה Judah H4503 מנחה presents; H3092 ליהושׁפט to Jehoshaphat H1961 ויהי and he had H6239 לו עשׁר riches H3519 וכבוד and honor H7230 לרב׃ in abundance.

6 H1361 ויגבה was lifted up H3820 לבו And his heart H1870 בדרכי in the ways H3068 יהוה of the LORD: H5750 ועוד moreover H5493 הסיר he took away H853 את H1116 הבמות the high places H853 ואת H842 האשׁרים and groves H3063 מיהודה׃

7 H8141 ובשׁנת year H7969 שׁלושׁ Also in the third H4427 למלכו of his reign H7971 שׁלח he sent H8269 לשׂריו to his princes, H1134 לבן חיל to Ben-hail, H5662 ולעבדיה and to Obadiah, H2148 ולזכריה and to Zechariah, H5417 ולנתנאל and to Nethaneel, H4322 ולמיכיהו and to Michaiah, H3925 ללמד to teach H5892 בערי in the cities H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah.

8 H5973 ועמהם And with H3881 הלוים them Levites, H8098 שׁמעיהו Shemaiah, H5418 ונתניהו and Nethaniah, H2069 וזבדיהו and Zebadiah, H6214 ועשׂהאל and Asahel, H8070 ושׁמרימות and Shemiramoth, H3083 ויהונתן and Jehonathan, H138 ואדניהו and Adonijah, H2900 וטוביהו and Tobijah, H2899 וטוב אדוניה and Tob-adonijah, H3881 הלוים Levites; H5973 ועמהם and with H476 אלישׁמע them Elishama H3088 ויהורם and Jehoram, H3548 הכהנים׃ priests.

9 H3925 וילמדו And they taught H3063 ביהודה in Judah, H5973 ועמהם with H5612 ספר and the book H8451 תורת of the law H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5437 ויסבו them, and went about H3605 בכל throughout all H5892 ערי the cities H3063 יהודה of Judah, H3925 וילמדו and taught H5971 בעם׃ the people.
