14 H5221 ויכו them, were beaten, H7860 שׁטרי And the officers H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר which H7760 שׂמו had set H5921 עלהם over H5065 נגשׂי taskmasters H6547 פרעה Pharaoh's H559 לאמר demanded, H4069 מדוע Wherefore H3808 לא have ye not H3615 כליתם fulfilled H2706 חקכם your task H3835 ללבן in making brick H8543 כתמול yesterday H8032 שׁלשׁם as heretofore? 16 H8401 תבן straw H369 אין There is no H5414 נתן given H5650 לעבדיך unto thy servants, H3843 ולבנים brick: H559 אמרים and they say H6213 לנו עשׂו to us, Make H2009 והנה and, behold, H5650 עבדיך thy servants H5221 מכים beaten; H2398 וחטאת but the fault H5971 עמך׃ in thine own people.
