16 H5768 ועלליהם Their children H7376 ירטשׁו also shall be dashed H5869 לעיניהם to pieces before their eyes; H8155 ישׁסו shall be spoiled, H1004 בתיהם their houses H802 ונשׁיהם and their wives H7693 תשׁגלנה׃ ravished.

17 H2005 הנני H5782 מעיר I will stir up H5921 עליהם against H853 את H4074 מדי the Medes H834 אשׁר them, which H3701 כסף silver; H3808 לא shall not H2803 יחשׁבו regard H2091 וזהב and gold, H3808 לא they shall not H2654 יחפצו׃ delight

18 H7198 וקשׁתות bows H5288 נערים the young men H7376 תרטשׁנה also shall dash H6529 ופרי on the fruit H990 בטן of the womb; H3808 לא to pieces; and they shall have no H7355 ירחמו pity H5921 על spare H1121 בנים children. H3808 לא shall not H2347 תחוס spare H5869 עינם׃ their eye

19 H1961 והיתה shall be H894 בבל And Babylon, H6643 צבי the glory H4467 ממלכות of kingdoms, H8597 תפארת the beauty H1347 גאון excellency, H3778 כשׂדים of the Chaldees' H4114 כמהפכת overthrew H430 אלהים as when God H853 את H5467 סדם Sodom H853 ואת H6017 עמרה׃ and Gomorrah.
