Jeremiah 38:7-10

  7 H8085 וישׁמע heard H5663 עבד מלך Now when Ebed-melech H3569 הכושׁי the Ethiopian, H376 אישׁ one H5631 סריס of the eunuchs H1931 והוא which H1004 בבית house, H4428 המלך was in the king's H3588 כי that H5414 נתנו they had put H853 את   H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H413 אל in H953 הבור the dungeon; H4428 והמלך the king H3427 יושׁב then sitting H8179 בשׁער in the gate H1144 בנימן׃ of Benjamin;

  8 H3318 ויצא went forth H5663 עבד מלך Ebed-melech H1004 מבית house, H4428 המלך out of the king's H1696 וידבר and spoke H413 אל to H4428 המלך the king, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  9 H113 אדני My lord H4428 המלך the king, H7489 הרעו have done evil H376 האנשׁים men H428 האלה these H853 את   H3605 כל in all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂו they have done H3414 לירמיהו to Jeremiah H5030 הנביא the prophet, H853 את   H834 אשׁר whom H7993 השׁליכו they have cast H413 אל into H953 הבור the dungeon; H4191 וימת and he is like to die H8478 תחתיו in the place where H6440 מפני for H7458 הרעב hunger H3588 כי he is: for H369 אין no H3899 הלחם bread H5750 עוד more H5892 בעיר׃ in the city.

  10 H6680 ויצוה commanded H4428 המלך Then the king H853 את   H5663 עבד מלך Ebed-melech H3569 הכושׁי the Ethiopian, H559 לאמר saying, H3947 קח Take H3027 בידך with H2088 מזה from hence H7970 שׁלשׁים thirty H376 אנשׁים men H5927 והעלית thee, and take up H853 את   H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah H5030 הנביא the prophet H4480 מן from hence H953 הבור the dungeon, H2962 בטרם before H4191 ימות׃ he die.
