Jeremiah 44:7-8 ועתה Therefore now כה thus אמר saith יהוה the LORD, אלהי the God צבאות of hosts, אלהי the God ישׂראל of Israel; למה Wherefore אתם ye עשׂים commit רעה evil גדולה great אל against נפשׁתכם your souls, להכרית to cut off לכם אישׁ from you man ואשׁה and woman, עולל child ויונק and suckling, מתוך out of יהודה Judah, לבלתי you none הותיר to leave לכם שׁארית׃ to remain;

8 H3707 להכעסני In that ye provoke me unto wrath H4639 במעשׂי with the works H3027 ידיכם of your hands, H6999 לקטר burning incense H430 לאלהים gods H312 אחרים unto other H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H834 אשׁר whither H859 אתם ye H935 באים be gone H1481 לגור to dwell, H8033 שׁם whither H4616 למען that H3772 הכרית ye might cut yourselves off, H4616 לכם ולמען and that H1961 היותכם ye might be H7045 לקללה a curse H2781 ולחרפה and a reproach H3605 בכל among all H1471 גויי the nations H776 הארץ׃ of the earth?
