1 Kings 21:5-14

  5 H348 But Jezebel H802 his wife H935 came [H8799]   H1696 to him, and said [H8762]   H7307 unto him, Why is thy spirit H5620 so sad H398 , that thou eatest [H8802]   H3899 no bread?

  6 H1696 And he said [H8762]   H1696 unto her, Because I spake [H8762]   H5022 unto Naboth H3158 the Jezreelite H559 , and said [H8799]   H5414 unto him, Give [H8798]   H3754 me thy vineyard H3701 for money H2655 ; or else, if it please H5414 thee, I will give [H8799]   H3754 thee another vineyard H559 for it: and he answered [H8799]   H5414 , I will not give [H8799]   H3754 thee my vineyard.

  7 H348 And Jezebel H802 his wife H559 said [H8799]   H6213 unto him, Dost thou now govern [H8799]   H4410 the kingdom H3478 of Israel H6965 ? arise [H8798]   H398 , and eat [H8798]   H3899 bread H3820 , and let thine heart H3190 be merry [H8799]   H5414 : I will give [H8799]   H3754 thee the vineyard H5022 of Naboth H3158 the Jezreelite.

  8 H3789 So she wrote [H8799]   H5612 letters H256 in Ahab's H8034 name H2856 , and sealed [H8799]   H2368 them with his seal H7971 , and sent [H8799]   H5612 the letters H2205 unto the elders H2715 and to the nobles H5892 that were in his city H3427 , dwelling [H8802]   H5022 with Naboth.

  9 H3789 And she wrote [H8799]   H5612 in the letters H559 , saying [H8800]   H7121 , Proclaim [H8798]   H6685 a fast H3427 , and set [H8685]   H5022 Naboth H7218 on high H5971 among the people:

  10 H3427 And set [H8685]   H8147 two H582 men H1121 , sons H1100 of Belial H5749 , before him, to bear witness [H8686]   H559 against him, saying [H8800]   H1288 , Thou didst blaspheme [H8765]   H430 God H4428 and the king H3318 . And then carry him out [H8689]   H5619 , and stone [H8798]   H4191 him, that he may die [H8799]  .

  11 H582 And the men H5892 of his city H2205 , even the elders H2715 and the nobles H3427 who were the inhabitants [H8802]   H5892 in his city H6213 , did [H8799]   H348 as Jezebel H7971 had sent [H8804]   H3789 unto them, and as it was written [H8803]   H5612 in the letters H7971 which she had sent [H8804]   unto them.

  12 H7121 They proclaimed [H8804]   H6685 a fast H3427 , and set [H8689]   H5022 Naboth H7218 on high H5971 among the people.

  13 H935 And there came [H8799]   H8147 in two H582 men H1121 , children H1100 of Belial H3427 , and sat [H8799]   H582 before him: and the men H1100 of Belial H5749 witnessed [H8686]   H5022 against him, even against Naboth H5971 , in the presence of the people H559 , saying [H8800]   H5022 , Naboth H1288 did blaspheme [H8765]   H430 God H4428 and the king H3318 . Then they carried him forth [H8686]   H2351 out H5892 of the city H5619 , and stoned [H8799]   H68 him with stones H4191 , that he died [H8799]  .

  14 H7971 Then they sent [H8799]   H348 to Jezebel H559 , saying [H8800]   H5022 , Naboth H5619 is stoned [H8795]   H4191 , and is dead [H8799]  .
