Ezekiel 24:16-23

  16 H1121 Son H120 of man H3947 , behold, I take away [H8802]   H4261 from thee the desire H5869 of thine eyes H4046 with a stroke H5594 : yet neither shalt thou mourn [H8799]   H1058 nor weep [H8799]   H1832 , neither shall thy tears H935 run down [H8799]  .

  17 H1826 Forbear [H8798]   H602 to cry [H8736]   H6213 , make [H8799]   H60 no mourning H4191 for the dead [H8801]   H2280 , bind [H8798]   H6287 the tire of thine head H7760 upon thee, and put on [H8799]   H5275 thy shoes H7272 upon thy feet H5844 , and cover [H8799]   H8222 not thy lips H398 , and eat [H8799]   H3899 not the bread H582 of men.

  18 H1696 So I spake [H8762]   H5971 unto the people H1242 in the morning H6153 : and at even H802 my wife H4191 died [H8799]   H6213 ; and I did [H8799]   H1242 in the morning H6680 as I was commanded [H8795]  .

  21 H559 Speak [H8798]   H1004 unto the house H3478 of Israel H559 , Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H2490 ; Behold, I will profane [H8764]   H4720 my sanctuary H1347 , the excellency H5797 of your strength H4261 , the desire H5869 of your eyes H5315 , and that which your soul H4263 pitieth H1121 ; and your sons H1323 and your daughters H5800 whom ye have left [H8804]   H5307 shall fall [H8799]   H2719 by the sword.

  22 H6213 And ye shall do [H8804]   H6213 as I have done [H8804]   H5844 : ye shall not cover [H8799]   H8222 your lips H398 , nor eat [H8799]   H3899 the bread H582 of men.

  23 H6287 And your tires H7218 shall be upon your heads H5275 , and your shoes H7272 upon your feet H5594 : ye shall not mourn [H8799]   H1058 nor weep [H8799]   H4743 ; but ye shall pine away [H8738]   H5771 for your iniquities H5098 , and mourn [H8804]   H376 one H251 toward another.
