  16 H1696 Also I spake [H8765]   H3548 to the priests H5971 and to all this people H559 , saying [H8800]   H559 , Thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H8085 ; Hearken [H8799]   H1697 not to the words H5030 of your prophets H5012 that prophesy [H8737]   H559 unto you, saying [H8800]   H3627 , Behold, the vessels H3068 of the LORD'S H1004 house H4120 shall now shortly H7725 be brought again [H8716]   H894 from Babylon H5012 : for they prophesy [H8737]   H8267 a lie unto you.
  17 H8085 Hearken [H8799]   H5647 not unto them; serve [H8798]   H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H2421 , and live [H8798]   H5892 : wherefore should this city H2723 be laid waste?
  18 H5030 But if they be prophets H1697 , and if the word H3068 of the LORD H3426 be H6293 with them, let them now make intercession [H8799]   H3068 to the LORD H6635 of hosts H3627 , that the vessels H3498 which are left [H8737]   H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD H1004 , and in the house H4428 of the king H3063 of Judah H3389 , and at Jerusalem H935 , go [H8804]   H894 not to Babylon.
  19 H559 For thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H5982 concerning the pillars H3220 , and concerning the sea H4350 , and concerning the bases H3499 , and concerning the residue H3627 of the vessels H3498 that remain [H8737]   H5892 in this city,
  20 H5019 Which Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H3947 took [H8804]   H1540 not, when he carried away captive [H8687]   H3204 Jeconiah H1121 the son H3079 of Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah H3389 from Jerusalem H894 to Babylon H2715 , and all the nobles H3063 of Judah H3389 and Jerusalem;
  21 H559 Yea, thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H3627 , concerning the vessels H3498 that remain [H8737]   H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD H1004 , and in the house H4428 of the king H3063 of Judah H3389 and of Jerusalem;
  22 H935 They shall be carried [H8714]   H894 to Babylon H3117 , and there shall they be until the day H6485 that I visit [H8800]   H5002 them, saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H5927 ; then will I bring [H8689]   H7725 them up, and restore [H8689]   H4725 them to this place.

  1 H8141 And it came to pass the same year H7225 , in the beginning H4467 of the reign H6667 of Zedekiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah H7243 , in the fourth H8141 year H2549 , and in the fifth H2320 month H2608 , that Hananiah H1121 the son H5809 of Azur H5030 the prophet H1391 , which was of Gibeon H559 , spake [H8804]   H1004 unto me in the house H3068 of the LORD H5869 , in the presence H3548 of the priests H5971 and of all the people H559 , saying [H8800]  ,
  2 H559 Thus speaketh [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H559 , saying [H8800]   H7665 , I have broken [H8804]   H5923 the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon.
  3 H3117 Within two full H8141 years H7725 will I bring again [H8688]   H4725 into this place H3627 all the vessels H3068 of the LORD'S H1004 house H5019 , that Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H3947 took away [H8804]   H4725 from this place H935 , and carried [H8686]   H894 them to Babylon:
  4 H7725 And I will bring again [H8688]   H4725 to this place H3204 Jeconiah H1121 the son H3079 of Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah H1546 , with all the captives H3063 of Judah H935 , that went [H8802]   H894 into Babylon H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H7665 : for I will break [H8799]   H5923 the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon.
  5 H5030 Then the prophet H3414 Jeremiah H559 said [H8799]   H5030 unto the prophet H2608 Hananiah H5869 in the presence H3548 of the priests H5869 , and in the presence H5971 of all the people H5975 that stood [H8802]   H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD,
  6 H5030 Even the prophet H3414 Jeremiah H559 said [H8799]   H543 , Amen H3068 : the LORD H6213 do [H8799]   H3068 so: the LORD H6965 perform [H8686]   H1697 thy words H5012 which thou hast prophesied [H8738]   H7725 , to bring again [H8687]   H3627 the vessels H3068 of the LORD'S H1004 house H1473 , and all that is carried away captive H894 , from Babylon H4725 into this place.
  7 H8085 Nevertheless hear [H8798]   H1697 thou now this word H1696 that I speak [H8802]   H241 in thine ears H241 , and in the ears H5971 of all the people;
  8 H5030 The prophets H6440 that have been before H6440 me and before H5769 thee of old H5012 prophesied [H8735]   H7227 both against many H776 countries H1419 , and against great H4467 kingdoms H4421 , of war H7451 , and of evil H1698 , and of pestilence.
  9 H5030 The prophet H5012 which prophesieth [H8735]   H7965 of peace H1697 , when the word H5030 of the prophet H935 shall come to pass [H8800]   H227 , then H5030 shall the prophet H3045 be known [H8735]   H3068 , that the LORD H571 hath truly H7971 sent [H8804]   him.
  10 H2608 Then Hananiah H5030 the prophet H3947 took [H8799]   H4133 the yoke H5030 from off the prophet H3414 Jeremiah's H6677 neck H7665 , and brake [H8799]   it.
  11 H2608 And Hananiah H559 spake [H8799]   H5869 in the presence H5971 of all the people H559 , saying [H8800]   H559 , Thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H7665 ; Even so will I break [H8799]   H5923 the yoke H5019 of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H6677 from the neck H1471 of all nations H3117 within the space of two full H8141 years H5030 . And the prophet H3414 Jeremiah H3212 went [H8799]   H1870 his way.
  12 H1697 Then the word H3068 of the LORD H3414 came unto Jeremiah H310 the prophet, after H2608 that Hananiah H5030 the prophet H7665 had broken [H8800]   H4133 the yoke H6677 from off the neck H5030 of the prophet H3414 Jeremiah H559 , saying [H8800]  ,
  13 H1980 Go [H8800]   H559 and tell [H8804]   H2608 Hananiah H559 , saying [H8800]   H559 , Thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H7665 ; Thou hast broken [H8804]   H4133 the yokes H6086 of wood H6213 ; but thou shalt make [H8804]   H4133 for them yokes H1270 of iron.
  14 H559 For thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H5414 ; I have put [H8804]   H5923 a yoke H1270 of iron H6677 upon the neck H1471 of all these nations H5647 , that they may serve [H8800]   H5019 Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H5647 ; and they shall serve [H8804]   H5414 him: and I have given [H8804]   H2416 him the beasts H7704 of the field also.
  15 H559 Then said [H8799]   H5030 the prophet H3414 Jeremiah H2608 unto Hananiah H5030 the prophet H8085 , Hear [H8798]   H2608 now, Hananiah H3068 ; The LORD H7971 hath not sent [H8804]   H5971 thee; but thou makest this people H982 to trust [H8689]   H8267 in a lie.
  16 H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804]   H3068 the LORD H7971 ; Behold, I will cast [H8764]   H6440 thee from off the face H127 of the earth H8141 : this year H4191 thou shalt die [H8801]   H1696 , because thou hast taught [H8765]   H5627 rebellion H3068 against the LORD.
  17 H2608 So Hananiah H5030 the prophet H4191 died [H8799]   H8141 the same year H7637 in the seventh H2320 month.
