RKJNT(i)
As I urged you when I went to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus, that you might warn certain men not to teach any other doctrine,
Nor to give heed to myths and endless genealogies, which promote useless speculation, rather than godly training, which is by faith.
Now the aim of this commandment is love from a pure heart, and a good conscience, and a sincere faith:
From which some have swerved, turning aside to vain discussion;
Desiring to be teachers of the law; but understanding neither what they say, nor the matters about which they make such confident assertions.
